. . . It's almost like he WANTS to get shut down.

Of course he wants to get shut down. At this point, there is no way anything he does could ever live up to the hype he has heaped upon Axanar, you know, the whole greatest Star Trek film in all of human history stuff. If he gets shut down it is a perfect way for him to keep CBS as the bad guy and all he has to do is pretend to film some stuff every few years but never actually put out the film. The uniform thing alone is enough for me, they look terrible; very fan filmish!

Well, it is a fan-film, isn't it? No? Oh, that's right! It's an "independent Trek production".

The uniforms are reminiscent of the outfit Talia Winters wore in Babylon Five, just not done near as well. Hers had more of an hourglass look that was slimming. As someone mentioned above, the straight-cut side panels do the opposite.

Oh I can't wait to say "I told you so" on this one........:guffaw::guffaw::guffaw:

From that FFF blog entry though........

"I won’t waste time going tit for tat for the umpteemth time on all of the Axamonitor nonsense. Want to know what I think? Read the last three and a half years of my blog responses to these same accusations and you will also see discussion of many delays that, from my point of view, were not Alec’s fault."

Lane's stockholm syndrome is irreversible it seems. Can't wait to see him go down with the ship (where I suspect he'll still be screaming the same drivel)

Slow Lane said:
The whole reason INTERLUDE exists (will exist) is because ALEC PETERS wanted to explain why Admiral Ramirez won’t be appearing in the Axanar sequels.
I thought he was making Interlude because he was just dying to make a fan film in the Axa-verse, and His Majesty would not be involved? :techman:

You know, maybe CBS really can't sue Alec Peters ... but nothing says they can't sue Jonathon Lane if he screws up enough ...........

Yeah, I've pretty much given up on expecting the quality. Prelude had interesting uniforms (aside from Ramirez-never liked his) but these have fan film written all over them.

Also, is Axanar able to crowd fun and use their own uniforms? I thought the guidelines prohibited that.

and in today's FFF Lane admits Interlude exists because ALEC wants it to exist. So this is alec wanting another part of axanar while staying under his "2 film settlement"

Not exactly. The guidelines say that if you BUY uniforms / props, you must buy them from CBS-licensed vendors. CBS later clarified that you may make your own uniforms / props. They grey area is if you have a local tailor / builder make a one-off set. What you MAY NOT do is buy from a non-licensed aka black-market vendor.

Ok. I couldn't remember exactly. Thank you for the clarification.

Still wondering about the crowdfunding though.

Well, that seems like staying within the "spirit" of the settlement. lol.
Why are they advertising this shit?

I actually love the bridge set. It is a great blend of old and new for a fan film. The uniforms are just a hot mess.
I do like that set, but it's still clearly unfinished. Look at the science station for example, it has gaps for the extra bits Spock's station has... but none of those bits are there. It being a different class of ship doesn't wash because the remaining screens have gaps for the missing parts.

Also the (awesome) extra consoles and (shitty, out of place) helm aren't backlit, they're literally drawn-on buttons on the level of LCARS control consoles I made out of black paper and a set of coloured stickers when I was 11.
