Carmilla the series

Betty was tall too. All the other ladies and Will seemed closer in height. One of my problems early on was when taller people didn't fit in the frame.

ETA: I really liked the way the Christmas special was done. Carmilla kinda reminds me of a female Damon(TVD).

Back in episode two(?) fitting Danny into the camera poorly was an obvious and successful attempt at humour.

Took a lunch break, then took an arrow break, and now I'm taking a You Me and the Apocalypse Break.

I think I'm up to episode 26.

I am watching the new episode of Supernatural in Auckland, New Zealand, and it is 7pm, and a Thursday.

So yes, that means that I am in the future, and on a Supernatural break.

After you called me a "creampuff", you should have expected resistance.

Tardis mug, I don't remember the Tardis mug in season two? I'd be amused to find out Laura is an international transfer student from Miskatonic University. It would go a ways toward explaining how she and an over-protective dad were OK with this place.

Really?

Cool.

Finished.

Nice story. Fun format. Thank you for showing me this JG.

Season two for tomorrow. :)

You are most welcome.

You're from NZ? Cool. It's so pretty, from what I've seen. So have you ever spotted LL out and about?

Btw, Creampuff is the name used to describe Carmilla fans, because that's what she referred to Laura as.

These group identifiers are sometimes quite tragic.

The other day on a behind the scenes special, they tried to make me believe that the cast of Once Upon a Time, refers (with love) to their fan base as "Oncers".

Followers of Veronica Mars are called Marshmellows but the worst are "Gleeks" (What you much be referred as if you are a Geek for Glee.).

I know why you called me (and the rest of them) a Creampuff, I just don't have to like it. ;)

No. Never seen Lucy.

I met Kevin Smith (Ares) once, he was singing in a band, lost his shirt and covered in sweat from rocking out hard.

I've watched the first 3 seasons of Glee and admittedly love the songs. But I wouldn't call myself a Gleek. I tried watching VM but it was beyond boring!

I'm not really into fandom names. It's easier to just say I like something. Did you watch the Christmas episode?

That's so cool you met Kevin! May he R.I.P.

I'm a tired old man, doe eyed yernfully eye####ing my own as yet undug grave.

No one likes these names but the truly pathological.

And you know what they say about the truly pathological?

("They're good in bed, as long as it's not in a bed".)

Although there is an exception, one collective tag which is actually pretty sweet.

The fanbase of Firefly are called "Brown Coats". Which you might choose to admit that, until you see these people (and smell them), that sounds pretty hard ass. :)

HA!

Twilighters (Twilight)
  • Along with the more derogatory "Twatlighters" - Though the term usually applies to members of the Twatlight ONTD livejournal community instead.
  • Alternately, some people prefer Twitlighters.
  • There's also a subgroup called Twilight Moms (Twimoms, for short).
  • Twi-hards (from "diehard") and Twitards (more derogatory, from "Twihards" - not to be confused with Twittards, who are Twitter users).
  • And twerds (Twilight+ nerds)
  • Twiguys, for those middle-aged men who walk around wearing New Moon T-shirts.
  • Team Jacob and Team Edward, regarding shipping.

Ugh. Twilight. I hate it.

Yes I admit to reading the books and seeing the movies but that was out of curiosity more than anything else. I was young and stupid.

I took a 4 month break while watching the first movie.

Not read the books, not see the sequels.

For a while there I thought that I was ignoring a phenomenon approved by planet earth, and I was regretfully disconnecting from the species.

But here on the other side of history, I can see that I was right to buckle down and weather this horrid nerd storm.

I never willingly watched the first one. A family friend's daughter really wanted to see it but she didn't want to go with her mom (apparently it's not cool) so I offered to take her. She was twelve and hopelessly in love with RP. So I went and had to endure an insufferable amount of time listening to the high-pitched shrieks of young girls/teens every time E and J were onscreen. Ouch my ears!
