Anybody noticed that if you go to the Zombie leaderboards all the zombie maps from WAW are there but greyed out.....could they be future DLC.

I'm actually addicted to trying to get the pro versions of the perks. That pretty much guarantees I'll never prestige because I'm not willing to try to get some of these again (Hardline Pro is a pain simply because I couldn't get people to pick up my care packages).
I also like that the kill streaks aren't as broken as they were in MW2. To get the chopper or dogs, you need to get 11 legit kills and if you can get 11 in a row, maybe you deserve to get those. Of course, they're also easy as hell to take out, so it's not entirely cheap.
Funny enough, the RC-XD is probably the most frustrating kill streak in the game. So much worse than the predator missile. :lol

I got all the tier 1 pro perks though and most of the other ones. I'll never use sniper so Scout isn't a big deal and I barely use gas so the Tactical Mask isn't a big deal. Hacker Pro and Marathon Pro would be nice but capping the flag 15 times in CTF is really hard.
I was really lucky when I saw two guys sniping and knifed them both real quick though. Steady Aim pro is a bitch. :lol
Ghost Pro can suck, but the good thing is that in most games, no one carries the launcher. Shoot down spy planes and you're done.

Just checked my hotmail for the first time in a few days, and found I had a new email from Xbox.com, informing me that they made a mistake, and there will be no Double XP weekend over this weekend. Instead, we'll be getting it "at some point in the future".

No, that's not a typo. Presumably the next CoD game will also have map exclusivity, unless they intend to support this game until 2012.

Yeah, you're right, the exclusivity thing runs through Black Ops and the next CoD game, which is I guess what they're saying in a poorly worded way.
It's funny, for all the angst about losing pro perks, I find I'm still mostly using ghost/ninja pro which are the two easier ones to get.
That said, I'm still not willing to give up the work I put into grabbing the other ones.

Approaching 4th Prestige.
Noticed my beard hasn't grown as long reaching this point as it did in earlier COD games.
Many corrections added to tweak gameplay.
If they can beat the lag issue it will be perfect.
I just hope they do it before I max out at 15th Prestige.....

I'm a few levels away from my 3rd prestige at the moment. Started using the AK74u recently. What a sweet little gun. Using Extended Mags and a Grip, with Lightweight, Warlord and Ninja, and I haven't had a game below a 2.50 ratio for ages. Most of them are 5.00+ though.
Don't get used to it. They will be patching the 74u/grip as it's a bit too good (allegedly) on it's "zero in" capability. At least, they are patching the consoles.
I find that I'm tending to go down the assault rifle route every time I prestige;

Occasionally use the Dragunov, Stoner and MP5K, but that's about it.

I have two trophies left to get for the plat, but unfortunately once again they are online trophies, those two online zombie ones to be precise, and finding a group of people who will play together towards that goal is a chore in itself....i will try for another week or so then bugger it, its going towards a trade for LBP2 collector edition.
Just a reminder that the new maps are out today. You get 5 new maps (4 MP + 1 Zombie Map) for 1200 points.
UK people - Gamestation are doing a Black Ops branded 1200 points card for £9.99. Is probably available at other retailers, but I've only actually seen it at GS.
Only had a bit of a run around the new maps in Private Match mode with a mate, but I'm liking what I've seen so far. The Berlin Wall map has red zones on it, where if you stray into them, automated turrets open fire on you. The Kowloon map is just running around rooftops with ziplines you can use to get from one part of the map to another. Stadium is pretty by-the-numbers stuff, and the snowy abandoned Nazi base seems like a decent map that has a destructable bridge in the middle.
Not played the zombie map yet, though. Will probably have a bash at it later.
