I think the only version of Trek that would wind up on my list of ten favorite TV shows would probably be TOS.

The only other sf shows that might be there would be the original Twilight Zone and Westworld and maybe The Orville.

Top 5 sf shows would probably be - more or less in order: Star Trek - TOS, The Orville, Westworld, the original Twilight Zone and Farscape.

One can reasonably argue tha STD isn't that bad compared to other Trek. But compared to TV drama in general? It's a C- at best.

That's why I don't compare.
