You would think so, but Orci has stated that the new film is bigger in scope than the last so we'll see.
There was never any official announcement about the size of the budget on the first one. Estimates put it in the $140-150 million range, and even that number didn't really start to firm up until fairly late in the production process.
Yeah, I don't think I'd expect it to change a great deal one way or the other.

The L.A. Times reported that the budget for the first film was $140 million (with an additional $150 million estimated in marketing costs). That article was written after the film's opening weekend at the box office, though, so I suspect a firm budget on the second film won't see the light of day for a while.
Well, I learned something new today. While I thought some extra money may at times be given to promote a movie, especially when it is a big movie, but I never expected it to equal or surpass the filming budget.
I'd guess the budget's a little more this time. In the first X-Men films, the actors wanted more and more each time until the decision was made to switch to spin-offs (forthcoming films The Wolverine and Deadpool) and prequels (Origins: Wolverine and First Class) to keep costs down.
I don't know if they got larger (it depends on the movie), but the TOS films also had a steady rise in budget.*
*The two exceptions being Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, which was made on the cheap and didn't have to pay for previous, failed TV/movie attempts and Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, which was made for the same budget as the fifth film.

I was under the impression that Star Trek III had an even lower budget than Wrath of Khan.

The Abrams' film? $140-150 million is a lot of money -- certainly much more than any film in the franchise had cost previously. In comparison, Abram's previous film as director, Mission: Impossible III,cost $150 million.
