Archer: When I was in my early twenties on a trip to California I saw Brian Brophy being born. It was truly amazing. Within minutes Brophy was standing up, standing on his own. A few more minutes and he was walking and before I knew it, he was acting alongside Brent Spiner. Star Trek Picard isn't like that, ambassador. It takes episodes before anything happens, almost a full season to develop a plot. It's going to recast, kill off characters for shock value, I'm sure more than a few, before it finds its footing. But it's going to learn from those mistakes. Maybe. That's what being Picard is all about. I'm sorry you can't see that.
