Brian Brophy didn’t return?

Let me tell you all a little story.

Brian Brophy was walking along the bank of a river, wondering how to get to the other side. Suddenly he saw a fox. He asked the fox to take him on his back across the river. The fox said no. 'If I do that you'll stab me, and I'll drown.' Brophy assured him, 'If I did that, we'd both drown.' So the fox thought about it and finally agreed. So Brophy climbed up on his back, and the fox began to swim. Upon reaching the other side, Brophy gave the fox directions to a wounded, helpless, delicious deer. The fox asked, "How can one man be so awesome?'

' I couldn't help it,' said Brian Brophy. 'It's my nature.'

What do you think Roddenberry would have thought of Brian Brophy being denied is rightful role of Bruce Maddox in the new show?

The ghost of Gene Roddenberry came to me in a dream last night and asked me to put a reference to the Great Bird Brophy in the lyrics to Beethoven's, Broethoven’s, 9th on page 39. Spirits appeased, I will now give the neighbor boy half-a-crown to fetch the largest turkey in the Poulterer’s window and begin the celebration of Brian Brophy’s birth-month.
