Okay, thanks for the recommendation - maybe I will read it, when "Cross Cult" publish it in Germany. My critique against the producer of the TV show still remains: As the book surely was written after they decided to use Maddox in the series, Una filled a whole, they created with this act.

OK, I think there's only one thing that remains now. We'll have to wait until the TNG Special Edition Blu-Ray set comes out, where they go full George Lucas and replace all shots of Brophy with a CGI de-aged John Ales. It's the only way.

Nah, not really. Based on the 28 pages I've just read, the Brophytes seem to be a much more pleasant bunch overall than the Church of Saint Connolly of the Debris Field was. The Gospel of Brophy (the Brospel?) seems much more, how should I say, peaceful and unifying.
