When they changed Moneypenny from Lois Maxwell to Caroline Bliss I was purple with anger. Mostly because when the news was announced I didn't hear and had just found out that we weren't getting a hamburger at school lunch that day.

Boy, Felix Leiter never being played by the same actor twice in a row must have turned you into the Incredible Hulk.
Speaking of which, we should note that Marvel recast Bruce Banner no less. Didn't hurt the Marvel movies one bit, artistically or commercially.
And I actually prefer Edward Norton's Bruce Banner to Mark Ruffalo's but I've never posted a thread saying that Mark ruined the character and violates canon.
I get being upset about a recast. I don't get the assumption of ill intent.
Ernst Stavro Blofeld once went from Telly Savalas to Charles Gray in the course of just one film. I don't like it, but it was what it was.

I prefer Brian Brophys who don't get recast.
