Re: Boston Globe: Star Trek is "the best prequel ever"
I've only seen "Raiders," and part of "The Last Crusade" on an in-flight movie. There are a quite a number of famous sequels that I haven't seen over the decades, either because I was only mildly interested in the previous film in the series or for other reasons at different times. With a couple of obvious glaring exceptions (like, uh, Star Trek) I don't tend to become a fan of series, just individual movies.
As for Star Wars...I've only seen "Attack Of The Clones" on DVD; for all I know that's not so unusual where the prequels are concerned. Saw all three of the original trilogy on their respective opening days though.
Wow, really? I thought the Indiana Jones Trilogy (well, now Quadrilogy) was like a right of passage for every American male. Like Star Wars.I've never seen "Temple Of Doom," so I can't say with any authoritah.
