IIRC, Disney seems to be moving away from the EU's idea that Han and Boba Fett were mortal enemies.
Doesn't have to be a mortal enemy, just an antagonist in the film in some way. He's part of hans backstory either way.

He raised him as his son.I thought he was Jango's son, not a clone.

Not to any appreciable extent; all we know is that he was contracted by Jabba to capture Han, and then later by Vader for the same purpose. Anything else--much like Boba Fett being "the most feared bounty hunter in the galaxy" or whatever--is just theorycrafting.
"Rogue One" shows really slow lightsaber battles
Ha? It seemed very tastefully done to me.And if Mangold gets the urge to kill Boba off in a really stupid way, like he did with another iconic character...
That one is actually rumored.2024: Jabba the Hutt: A Star Wars Story
I will not be surprised in the slightest if this film just quietly disappears, given that it wouldn't have been out until 2021 anyway.
The Obi-Wan film is probably safe, since it actually has the original* actor on board.
*You know what I mean.
This could have potential, I like Fett and James Mangold is a good director. I'm shocked at the reaction this is getting, it's been rumored since they first said they were going to be doing the "A Star Wars Story" movies, and given how popular the character is, it really is a no brainer.

I can kind of see the logic of a Jabba movie being considered. Solo does end with Han and Chewie talking about going to Tatooine to work for him, so a Jabba movie could easily be a sort of sequel to Solo. You could even bring Ehrenreich back for it and pick up on the story threads involving Qi'ra and Darth Maul.Really? Ugh. That's almost as bad a Boba Fett movie.
