I'm older than you and it took me a while to catch on to that, too.

(NCC-1701 also mentioned the solution upthread, but it may have gotten lost in the general hysteria.)

Has anyone been able to spot yet if the revised 1701 design has glowing warp nacelles in any locations on their cylinders? One of my hopes for TOS Remastered had been that the inner sides of the classic Enterprise nacelles featuring the plasma/heat sinks would have glowed a little every so often when the ship was supposed to be at warp.
