Nah, he wears it with dignity. It's no insult to show him being all sombrero'd up. It's a good thing.

    :D

Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to retconning. Retconning leads to Sombreros. Sombreros lead to suffering!

Sombreros DO lead to suffering. Go post this Yoda pic over in Sci-fi & Fantasy and read the melodramatic and humorless responses you'll immediately receive.

That's the second funniest part of Sombreroism, behind the cool photoshops.

Nonsense! This is easily the sanest thread in this forum, perhaps on the entire TrekBBS. Only SHOUTING SPOCK can compete in terms of relative rationality.

So I'm watching last weekend's TOS-R episode on the DVR...it's "Errand of Mercy" and the head of the Organian high council (Ayelborne) caught my eye and I looked him up on iMDB out of curiosity.

Turns out John Abbott played a role in the 1953 movie Sombrero!

    With Ricardo Montalban, no less!

The Sombrero works in subtle and glorious ways.

Let us take a moment to appreciate its greatness.
