I do hope you took them off when the movie started.

They probably just engaged the cloaking devices.

We took them off, actually a redshirted theater employee told me on the way in "you know you'll have to take that off"...duh!

I just got back from the 9:55 show. Lots of uniforms and the theater staff was in costume as well. Lots of fun with some trivia before the movie started and prizes galore.

My short review is that it was a great movie!

We wore our sombreros, but I saw no others...

EXCELLENT!!!!

I was surprised how small the rows are in a theater are when you are trying to stow your sombrero.

Bumpity bump...

From page five no less... how dare these NuTrek Whipper-Snappers clog up this forum and ruin the Old Curmudgeon's Sombrero fun...
;)

....UNDALEI...UNDALEI... Yeeeee-Haaaaa...

(...and thank you for bringing that beauty back from the past...)

While it lacked any visible sombreros (I'm sure there is at least one in Scotty's locker), the film was awesome and a triumph.

Now to lobby for sombreros, pez dispensers, and christmas lights in the sequel!!!

Star Trek XII : The Sombrero Chronicles

Even after Trek XI is released on home video and relegated to the .99 bin, this thread will live on, in anticipation of Trek XII and XIII and all the sombrero greatness therein.

So, I saw the movie today, and all I could think of during our first shot of the Enterprise being built was "Where's the sombrero and light bulbs?"
