Anyone in the world can tell the 10.2 and Rose are not going to work out.
He's a halfhearted (PUN!!!!!) copy, and she's in love with another bloke.
It's not until he becomes 11 that the Doctor can start calling her on adventures they never had as 10 which she assures him did happen, if 10.2 was sneaking inbtween theri love as a secret stunt decoy boyfriend.

The other doctor that got made when Donna was upgraded, "10 .2" I call him, that one, the Timelord/human hybrid with only one heart (half as many as a time lord, ergo half hearted, the pun I mentioned.) that 10 gave to Rose as a consolation Prize at the end of last season to bed and wed and have children with... That guy.
What's to stop him from laying a big wet one on River Song?

Considering the real 10 doesn't know all the facts about the relationship with the woman, it's totally possible that she could be in a threesome and not know it, and neither would 10, until he became 11, and remarked on that this is what he did and did not do and where on earth did all that extra romancing you received river come from?
Really, imagine if you're husband got sick of you and said don't worry, it's tag team and you can have my twin brother in my place since i think you're just a little shit. The bad blood should have exploded instantly. but it was going to boil into something atomic eventually.
If 10.2 couldn't have Rose, then why not have something 12 times better?

We live in a grand new age were great boobies can be small boobies, because no it's more about the woman attached to the boobies than the boobies attached to the woman, though certainly a complimentary symbiotic relationship still exists, but it's just nice to know that the bit that thinks defines beauty a little more cogently than the bit that makes milk.
Following up my earlier rant on even more things that will never happen, 10.2 is New Coke, there's nothing wrong with him unless you're already addicted to classic Coke, and honestly apart from the colour of the can, and the font of the branding, there was no bloody difference at all, so if Rose did dump 10.2, because he wasn't the complete classic package as advertised, which I think she must, because it's like Picard telling Kirk to leave the Nexus, he'd have a great deal to prove, and as a back up Doctor, David Tenants in, if he wants to guest star in a special 5 years down the line, this is exactly how he would prove that he is as good a boyfriend and lover and romantic as the "real" Doctor since unless he goes back and tries to pull Susan's mother, it's not like there are many other women in the universe who can say "I can't believe it's Not the Doctor" after a dinner, movie and a snog if a contrast must be weighed against either blokes definition of their full package being being more better than the other indistinguishable?
