Billie Piper and Tennant return for Big Finish

As much as I'd love a couple of sets of Tennant stoires set during the 2009 gap year (which is really the most fertile era for BF to do Tenth Doctor stories in), it certainly seems that Tennant does BF for reunion purposes.

Which isn't surprising, really.

Or they could go another route and bring in his wife.

If the rumors of her own series do come to fruition, I suspect that he's going to end up in at least one story much like the Diary of River Song sets.

Maybe if they decide to do a comics adaptation line, but I'm doubtful on that count. Tennant is a very busy man, and while he has a long history with Big Finish, it's possible his willingness to come in is so he can work with his previous cast mates. I'm pretty sure that was a strong motivator for the first set because he and Catherine Tate love working together.

Quite true. Now that I think about it, I think at most there would be a "Company of Friends" style release, a four-part anthology story that partnered the tenth Doctor with the various comic book companions in each chapter.

I'm not sure if he would be inclined to do a set with a character he probably has never heard of (I could be wrong, maybe he does read the comics), unless it's an actress he has worked with before.

He has read the comics in the past; he was reading The Forgotten on a British talk show a few years ago.
