Ok, that’s more reasonable.
Although isn’t little person the accepted term among the majority of very short men?
Can I call him ‘Pretentious narcissist’ instead?
Google "Little People, Big World". It's a TV show about a family of Little People that's been running on TLC for years. The parents are Little People, their daughter is normal height, and they have a set of twin boys - one is Little and the other isn't.
It's a genetic condition that comes with a host of medical issues and a lot of other issues that society in general just doesn't get... like basic access to things like sinks and counters and table tops in public places, and ramps and elevators for those with mobility problems (the dad in the show uses crutches and a scooter as his mobility problems get worse over time).
JC is a short man, but he's not a Little Person. He is frustrated that a lot of people treat him like a freak or a child, when he's a normal man in everything but height. It's not hard to believe that he's sometimes on the receiving end of the word "dwarf" - which is a derogatory term also used toward Little People.
And yeah, "pretentious" and "narcissist" are good descriptors. Though so far I don't get the impression that he's actually
mean.
Brett is mean. Thank goodness Sam didn't choose him as one of the nominees, because whichever of the two she did nominate who gets evicted will have a chance to get back into the house. While I find the New Age aura babbler annoying, it's not going to matter much if she gets back in, and the other made so small an impression that I don't even know her name.
Hopefully Sam's got someone in mind in case the veto winner takes one of the nominees down.
