It took FIVE YEARS for him to propose?![]()
If you're a cocky homophobic douche, yes.
We're going to have to sit through this again next year with Brenchel, aren't we?
That's a good idea, except it would make more sense to me to have a reality game show sub-forum. There are so many shows now, that just having a single thread would make it confusing and frustrating to follow some conversations. For example, I've never heard of Voice, and I've yet to see anyone post about The Quest, which is a terrific show.Do we want to start a general "Reality game show" thread instead of making new threads for every season? It seems like most of the same people post in the Survivor, Big Brother and Voice threads.
The Quest is partly a scripted fantasy show and part reality show with contestants that do challenges and one person is eliminated in each episode. However, it's the most civilized example of this genre I've ever seen; even The Amazing Race has more negativity.I thought about watching The Quest, I guess I didn't just because I just don't watch anything on ABC so I wasn't exposed to the ads to be aware enough of it. What's the format?
If we don't want to use one thread to cover all reality shows, how about just one that encompasses Survivor and Big Brother?
Keep in mind that these competitions take place as part of an overall scripted story and are part of it. That said, the competitions themselves are not scripted; the winner is not predetermined in any way. What's the elimination criteria? One important aspect of these sorts of shows for me that can be a deal breaker is if the eliminations don't have some semblance of fairness. Like, a couple years ago there was this 'Ultimate video game player' reality show, only it was clearly not fair because it all came down to arbitrarily chosen duels at the end where things could happen like the sports game expert being knocked out because he wasn't good at Guitar Hero. Does it feel like the people who made it to the end are convincingly the best at the game?
Each competition does test a general skill set. They just vary it. Last week it was observation and memorization, both very valuable skills for medieval-era (or any era, really) soldiers to have. And the tests follow the overall story in a logical way.I'm more interested that the methods to determine elimination pertain to a general skill set instead of just some random different thing every week. Maybe I'll check out the first episode.
That would be hilarious.Apparently, they've cut the live feeds for the year. They're doing "best of" feeds through the finale next week. But, somebody slipped up and there were 4-5 minutes of feeds that went out, which show ...
Frankie's out of the house. Derrick is HoH. Victoria is nominated. Who is with her ... was not shown.
After about 39 weeks in a row of being on the block, I think it would be a hoot for Victoria to pull out and win this thing.
