Being Human - American remake on SyFy - Season 1 discussion & spoilers

Re: Being Human - American remake on SyFy - Season 1 discussion & spoi

Just started watching Being Human UK and I'm on episode 1x05.

Even after just 5 episodes it's already endeared itself to me as the better interpretation.

The best part about the UK version though is that it's fucking funny. While I've enjoyed the US version and will no doubt continue watching it next season, I'm sorry to say it's very whiny and mopey in comparison.

But yeah, the humor of the UK series is what's really fantastic and George is a riot.

Yeah, the UK version is one of my favourite shows on the air right now. The US version I don't mind but I would hardly put it as one of my favourites.

Heh, I'm starting episode 2x04 right now and even though I've been up all night, it's keeping me going.

Rare that I stumble across Telly this good.

I agree with you but I do find that the US version works better for some of the dark stuff. Like I find Aiden's bloodlust feels more genuine and palpable than Mitchell's.
