Batman with Ben Affleck-- Rumors, pic, etc;

Sin City.

Also V For Vendetta and A History of Violence.
Given @eyeresist stated "Superhero Movie", none of these qualify - none of those properties involve superheroes.

The closest I can think of straight off the top of my head is Scott Pilgrim Vs The World which has Superhero antics but isn't really a traditional Superhero film, and the KickAss films which, again, have Superhero-style antics, but no traditional powers

Hugo - When I'm around you, I kind of feel like I'm on drugs. Not that I do drugs. Unless you do drugs, in which case I do them all the time. All of them.

There are some differences in Kick-Ass, too.

But V for Vendetta really isn't that far off of a superhero story. It's certainly closer than Scott Pilgrim.

my guess is we will see "inspired by" at the most, not "based on".

I've been fine with that so far, don't know if I'm in the minority on this, but I actually like these movies(and TV shows) don't just copy the comics verbatim, but they take their own spin on the material.

Age of Ultron took the name of the 2012 comic, but was a closer adaptation of Ultron Unlimited from 1997.

Well, in the case of Marvel we have the Winter Soldier and Civil War plus the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok/Planet Hulk. But they also don't adapt but are simply based on their respective comics.

World War Hulk? It's becoming clear Ragnarok is taking elements from Planet Hulk, but I don't remember hearing anything about WWH.

You are right of course. Thor: Ragnarok will adapt elements from the Planet Hulk story and not the World War Hulk story as I hurriedly stated.

That's unexpected news, didn't know they were that far along.
If shooting is really starting that soon, we should be hearing more on the casting in the very near future.

The rest of the casting because we already have:

Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne / Batman
Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth
J. K. Simmons as Commissioner James Gordon
Joe Manganiello as Slade Wilson / Deathstroke

Is the conceit of this video channel that the actors are supposed to be super drunk and/or on drugs?

I get that it is a semi-scripted/improv scenario thing, but Affleck looks like he is at the bad end of a bender from the start.
