I went with The Gotham project. I liked Duality - but it is not very Batman-specific. ("Batman: Duality" was what you were thinking of but still the duality piece doesn't immediately make me think of Batman) Midnight in Gotham, Manhunt in Gotham and Silent Knight look far too episodic to me. Great for names in BTAS but not as movie names (movies aren't really episodic - they are "bigger" - you are not going to get 100 movies for Batman - maybe only 4-5 before they "reboot" the whole thing). I liked Batman Endures but it makes the movie somewhat less fun-sounding. So Batman: The Gotham Project sounds probably the best. (I hope tho' the movie is not about the mayoral elections or something civic-minded or anything like that)
I like Shadow of the Bat best; The Dark Knight Rises is OK but sounds too much like the title for a first or second film, not a third one which comes after the second ended on a downer.
Ya know, when I started this thread, I was actually (mostly) serious about it. I really did think some of those names could work and be taken seriously by the public at large. I guess it's a good thing I don't work for the Warner Brothers marketing department. Maybe I should have just made it a thread about possible joke names. I could have included "Batman Finishes", although that sounds a little too dirty if you interpret it a certain way.
We shall not sully Damien Wayne by having Chris O'Donnell play him...although now that I think about it...maybe Chris was visionary and saw the future!!!! LOL
From what I read of Morrison's Batman run before dropping superhero comics entirely, no one could sully Damien Wayne. Chris O'Donnell might even be an improvement.
