First, huge congrats on the new job, BladeRunner! I'm very pleased for you!

And Monty - GREAT avatar this time!!!! :guffaw:

Awww... thanks Vash *hugs*. Sorry you missed the party, maybe we can have another one sometime...? ;)

As for Shameless and Montresor, I'll get you both back... when you least expect it. :p

Thanks, guys! :)

I'll probably make an Inspector Clouseau one next, though that doesn't mean I'm endorsing the upcoming Pink Panther remake. :)

I'm off to celebrate with my offline friends. I wish y'all could come too, but at least we have the bar. ;)

Speak to y'all later, although that might prove to be not the best of ideas. :D

*beams aboard his ship and departs for Risa at maximum warp*

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

My Complete DS9 Seasons 1-7 arrived today!

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

And after all these years, the opening scene of "Emissary" still makes me tear up :(

But still, seven seasons of DS9 goodness! Drinks are on me, everyone!

Hooray for all seven seasons of DS9! I still don't have all seven seasons....I'm missing season 2 and 7. I've had season 7 high on my wish list for a while but it's only been recently that I've really realized how much I like some of those season 2 eps and wish I had them!

And I love your avatar, TerakRall

I think I neglected to mention this before, but better late than never - congrats on the job Blade Runner!!

I do too!!!

Good work, TerakRall!!!

I think you should let us all use it for a bit, as the Niner response to this "Not Dead" silliness going around. :D ;)

And yes, that was a hint. :D

Hey everybody! I'm here to celebrate my (almost) perfect health, all drinks are on me! :)

Where's Blade Runner? He promised me a coffee... too bad that it should be a decaf one (I must take care of my blood pressure, doctor's orders)

Glad to hear you're in good health, Johi36!

And thanks for paying for drinks now so I don't have to...these guys run up quite a tab! I'm going to be washing dishes for Quark for weeks...

Here I am! *hugs johi* ;) Congrats again on your results. :)

Sorry about not bein' around. My headache came back suddenly and I felt nauseous so I had to go and lie down for a bit with a paracetamol and some classical music.

So, what coffee would you like?

*rummages in his pockets for some spare latinum slips left over from night before*

Awww, sorry to hear that :(
Go back to bed and relax!!!

So, what coffee would you like?
Something very strong and tasty but without caffeine - I know, there's nothing like that (decaf is awful)

What's the point of coffee if you're not going to have caffeine in it?! Decaf should be outlawed, in my opinion...if you're going for coffee, you gotta go all-out.

*hands johi a mug of his special blend raktajino*

A bit of caffeine won't hurt you as long as you don't overdo it... ;)

I was thinking about starting a thread about this, but there was already one and I'm not sure how to ask it. I decided to give it a try in here and see what happens.

Anyway, today I went to go see the Movie Brokeback Mountain. I know it brought up the controversial issue of homosexuality, and I know that my church (Catholic) has a hard stance against it. However, despite the fact that I am catholic, I don't agree with the church's hard stance on it. Maybe it is a sin, and I don't live that life, but I am tolorant of those who do and say whatever makes you happy, go for it.

Anyway, not to get too far off topic, I went to see this movie today, and I liked it quite a bit. I don't think it was as good as Walk the Line, but that isn't the issue right now. Half way through, I totally forgot this movie was dealing with the homosexuality issue and looked at it as a love story, much like I looked at DS9's "Rejoined" the same way. My question is if you are a devout catholic, or just a catholic who does go to church every week or whatever, and you saw this movie, what did you think? Does it make me a bad person for liking this movie? I know it might sound like a silly question, but it's something I keep on thinking about and when someone asks me how it was, I'm not sure if I really know how to respond.

^ I enjoyed the film too, and I didn't think I would although I am not religious and have nothing at all against gay people. I too, totally forgot it was a homosexual romance and just got whisked away by the story.
