Bar 'n' Grill - Part II

Ahhh, kanar! You know, i wonder if this thread is going to become a thread about nit picking the show. But then again, Trekkies don't nit pick. ;)

^^Random musings, goldernit.

Has the kanar dried up yet? I see about ten empty bottles at the far end of the bar...is that Morn????? Forget it, there isn't any more alcohol left. We'll have to wait for the next shipment.

So yes, since the Prophets are Gods, we can just explain everything away. Argh, I hate that kind of crap! I could do without the Prophets altogether, I think. Anyone want to go on a Holy War with me? ;)

Oh jees, knife fight just broke out. See you guys later.

^ Yep Morn finished off the Kanar last night apparently. He was tellin' one of his lengthy stories about his brothers and sisters.

You'll have to make do with replicated stuff till the place is restocked.

*replicates Elmo Dukat and himself a large synthale* Cheers! :D

Indeed. :D

Luckily, though, I think they used "divine intervention" sparingly during the show and when it was used, it made sense. And I wouldn't explain away any and all DS9 nit picks through the Prophets - just those pertaining directly to the functioning of the wormhole.

Oh-----Prophets-----it's-----terrrrrrible!!!!

Quick, don't we have some merchant trader around here who can get us some of the good stuff? I here there's "Latinum-Schlager" now, pricey stuff but worth it from what I here. Though I don't think it would last amongst Ferengis.

I suppose I'll just have some red leaf tea. Don't know what I'm doing at a bar in the middle of the afternoon at any rate.... ;)

Here have some of this Romulan Ale...

*opens the bottle and pours Elmo Dukat a glass*

I got a border ship brings me in a case now and then across the Neutral Zone :D

^ Sure, help yourself. :)

I saw Kung Fu Hustle last night and really enjoyed it. Actually I LOVED it. Definately one of the most entertaining films I've seen in a long time.

I've also been spending time on Streaming Soundtracks . It's a great site that a friend introduced me too recently. Basically you can listen to and chat about soundtracks and they play requests from their HUGE library 24 hours a day. It's free to join and then you can make requests too. I'd love to see some other Niners on there. :)

Cool flick! Silly as hell, but very fun. I took a chance and blind-bought it a while back, and wasn't disappointed. I've yet to see Shaolin Soccer, though, another Stephen Chow movie.

^ I saw it in the shops for £8.99 and I'd heard so many good things about it. I haven't seen Shaolin Soccer yet, but on the strength of KFH, I'm definately going check it out.

I've also started to watch Cowboy Bebop this week and have become an overnight fan of that too. No doubt about it, Asia produces some of the most original and interesting television and film these days.

^^^ Argh! I think they showed a Miyazaki film on TV the other night and my dad didn't tape it ... :scream: Grrrr ...!!! Just because it's not the sort of film HE's interested in ...

*takes a swig of Mauraltian seev-ale to try and calm down*

Anyway, to all interested parties: I am putting Timeshare!Casey back on the market after nearly a whole month! (Thanks for the loan, Vash!)

Please, give Casey a home! Look at that lovely face ... who could resist?? And it's a great forum tradition, too, as I've heard!

Btw, thanks Blade Runner, I had a lovely day today! :) There were at least four little kids crawling/waddling/running/being carried around the house this afternoon - my poor cat was quite frightened, but behaved very well really! And then in the evening a second wave of visitors came, so it's been nonstop really! :)

*hands Llanita a glass of Brevari (Centauri alcoholic drink)*

Here, sounds like you could do with this. ;) Glad you've had a great day. Sorry you missed the Miyazaki film though. Do you know which one it was?

Oh, and I love the new avatar.

Glad you enjoyed your time with Time-Share Casey, Llanita! It was nice pulling him out again - it's been a while since we got to see him!

And yeah, if someone else wants a chance now, feel free. Just let me know if you are making a (temporary) claim. :)

And congrats, Shameless!

I really like Vash's avatar.

That's my two cents for the week.

I feel like Larry King.

You should come watch B5 with us, Evil Dead! Go check out the thread pinned to the top of the forum. I'd love it if you could participate! :)
