I got this one.
It's been like that pretty much since I joined the BBS, though when I had the Santa hat on it had no animation. The animation is from "Body Parts." When Keiko's prodding O'Brien to ask Kira to move in with them, O'Brien's expression changes and his hairline with it. I thought it was humorous enough to use as an av, so there you go.
It IS subtle, though, so it's no surprise that you may have missed it.
I may make a new version of it that's a bit bigger soon. When I made it originally the BBS's avatar size limits were different than they are now.
What i really miss is when you would change your av for whatever hot new movie ws coming out.

I'm on a BSG high this week. Last night I watched the BSG behind the scene show on Sci-fi and now I'm really excited for the show to come back. I got to see like 3 of the new promos, and some of the highlights for what is to come look really cool. I plan to tape the marathon this week, so I'm really excited.

I may start up the movie-of-the-week again, but probably not until after January's over. The movie selection looks pretty bleak this month.

Well I got a cool surprise today. I got a late christmas present from my g/f today (it got stuck in the mail for a few weeks). I got an Underworld poster. I've been wanting one for ages, and I finally got it. Now I'm looking forward to Underworld: Evolution even more, hehe.

Anyway, I just got Serenity last week and watched about six times already (today will be number 7). What a brilliant movie (though not as funny as I had hoped). That was definitely the best birthday present I ever got!
So, what do my fellow Niners think about Serenity?

I thought Serenity was one of the best films this year. I loved it and like you have seen the DVD many times now. Have you found the Fruity Oaty Commercial easter egg?
The board still seems pretty quiet at the moment, but I'm sure once it gets back to normal, the B5 thingy will begin. I've seen all the seasons on DVD, but I'm looking forward to watching again and discussing with my fellow Niners.
