I was thinking we could start this B5 project after the New Year.
Sounds like a plan, and two eps a week is a good way to start. Y'all can decide as you go if more (or less) would be better. :D

Better have a look for that box set...just in case. :p

Hope everyone had a good day yesterday. :D

Hi everybody! Dear Vash pointed this thread out to me, so here I am *waves* :)

I think when I've finished making my way through DS9 again (I've just seen The Way of the Warrior), I'll start B5 again.
I wish a bunch of us could watch it together and discuss it in here. I think that would be fun. :D
I think you've just formulated an excellent thread idea! :D I'm most definitely in!
Me too! Me too! I've watched seasons 1-4 this summer/autumn, but I never got around to watch season 5 :D

It would be great fun to do that with you all :D

Geez, Johi, do you ever sleep??? :p

Now all Vash has to do is talk me into this whole idea and we're set. :D

I'd think the vast quantities of peer pressure would be setting in by now.

Good to see you here, Johi! :) The gang who posts in this thread is most cool! :)

*adds more pressure* ;)

Good to see you here, Johi! :)
Thank you! :)

I haven't visited this forum very often before, there are still way too many DS9 eps I haven't seen yet :(
I bought myself some very low priced (1€ each, and they are even in English :D :D :D) DS9 videos for Christmas, though :)

I'm also thinking about buying at least one season on DVD, but I'm not sure yet which one. Any suggestions?

Oooh! I always jump at the chance to recommend a season of DS9 to someone. ;-)

My favorite season is season six, so overall I'd recommend that. But if you haven't seen enough DS9 to know the general Dominion storyline, I'd recommend season five, my second favorite season.

Well, I've seen at least some eps from every season, but not all of them in the right order. I know a little bit about the Dominion war, and to be completely honest, I'm not very fond of battle episodes :)

Thanks for the suggestions!

Well, I guess seasons 6 and 7 have the most space battles. At least the most impressive ones, anyway. It's too bad you don't like space battles, because the one in Favor the Bold/Sacrifice of Angels is REALLY impressive. As is the one in The Changing Face of Evil.

If you want a season with no space battles at all, you have pretty slim pickins, cus there are battles in every season from season 3 onward....which are the best seasons, IMO.

My personal favorite season is probably season 6, followed by season 7 and then season 5. But then, I like the whole war arc...not so much for the battles but because of all the cool characters that came with the war! Can't get enough Damar! And Weyoun is great too! And I like Vic Fontaine.

There are alot of reasons to like the last seasons, regardless of the battle episodes.

Have you ever seen In the Pale Moonlight?

Just wanna remind people that my birthday is coming up. Not a card or even a shipment of Latinum ...

Happy Birthday.

I won't say what my favorite season is, but I'll probably be the only person to recommend season 2. It was a great season, and very underrated IMO.

BTW, hey all. I've been busy lately, but other than going to the movies tomarrow, I'll have some free time again. I've been watching all the trek movies this week starting last sunday with my newest gift (TUC) and then watching them in order. Tonight will be The Final Frontier and maybe Generations. 9 movies in 7 days (I don't have nemesis and don't want those bad memories to return from when I saw it the second time), I hope I can do it.

It will be hard since I don't own B5, and my Blockbuster thing is for the family. I'm afraid I'll have to sit that one out. I don't know how fast you guys will be going, and I might end up very behind.

Looks like Jammer is keeping to his word... barely. ;)

His ENT S4 review is up and his TNG reviews are coming very soon. I get the sense from reading the ENT S4 review that he's long since moved passed ENT and it shows he wants to get caught up on things he's fallen behind on. Not that I blame him. Unlike previous years, he got no break this time going from ENT straight to BSG.

That and the season reviews usually look back and forward, with half that component gone it's essentially halving the second part of the review.

On another note: today I took two of my VCR's and hooked the sound on one and the video on the other to my DVD recorder and created my first dub.

I had the music from "Amok Time" play over Worf and Gowron's fight to the death. As soon as Gowron says "There can only be one answer to that!", the music kicks in.

Hey everyone :)
Well it's been snowing like crazy for the last four or so days here, so I thought I'd post a few pics in here. :)

Oh yeah, I also updated my Selene avatar. :D

Thanks for the snow pictures, BigFoot! I live in Minnesota and it's been snowing all night here. A couple weeks ago we got a decent snow storm with about eight inches falling over two days. But then it warmed up and some of the snow melted, so by yesterday afternoon we had maybe two or three inches of snow still on the ground. But then it started snowing again last night and it's been going the past twelve hours. We're probably back up to around six inches or more by now. Don't know when it's going to stop, but hopefully it will keep up a while longer and get us up past eight inches again!

You're welcome. :)

Wow, BigFoot! That is some serious snow!
Yeah, it's a bit more then we usually get. I love it though. I missed snow so much for the last two years.

Speaking of snow, our new year's eve plans got cancelled due to the fact that there's over 7 feet of snow where we were gonna go. So we're just gonna hang out at my place tomorrow.

7 FEET??? Wow!

That is like Valdez levels of snow...and that is the snowiest city in Alaska!

In Valdez, the whole first floors of buildings are sometimes under snow. Ya have to tunnel in to front doors sometimes!

Yeah, it's not the first time there was that much snow there. Once we had to get into the cabin through the little balcony on the top floor. :D
