Bar and Grill 4: The Conversation Pit

Does anyone have any Babylon 5 DVD's they want to send to the Bay Area? ;)

Seriously, for some reason (maybe it was posting in the General Scifi forum lately), I've been really anxious to see Babylon 5, but I'm not accessable to it. I don't have the cash to get it, and I could use Blockbuster, but it will take me so long to see the series since it's a family service. I wish it would come back into syndication because I've only seen maybe the first two seasons of it (So long ago though) that I feel like really wanting to see the rest from the beginning. I hear so much about it, and figure I'm really missing out. :(

Well I thought I'd give this thread a bump. It's been a while. How's everyone doing?

Not much going on with me. Work's going well and my Buffy / Angel "marathon" is going great. I've already halfway through seasons 6 and 3 (I started at the end of December btw).

Oh yeah, this is my 15000th post. Cool huh? ;)

This thread is still here? Wow. :p

Maybe I should post more here. I mean Orac Zen has posted more times in this forum than I have lately...

Everyone has posted here more than you lately. :p

^ Putting off that promotion. I look forward to posting with you in the AL sometime soon.

I'm making an another appearance here. I've been slack. Currently up watching the cricket and talking to Evil Robert.

I guess I'll be right behind you, GA. I thought I had more time, but alas, the board calls me . . .

Good to see a few 'long lost souls' posting in this thead! :)

Of course, you are welcome any time, and the avatar contests have been pretty good lately, so enjoy!

I'm still here, but I really don't post in this forum that much anymore. It's been ages since I've seen an episode of DS9 too. :(

I hope everyone is doing well. I'm keeping busy, but given the news today and happenings around my apartment, I'm not really. :(

So how's everyone doing? I'm doing pretty well actually. Work is fairly interesting and fun. The weather's great so I can drive with the top down pretty much all the time. And I don't have to work for the next six days. :D Tomorrow (friday) is a holiday, and the same goes for tuesday and wednesday. And I took monday off, so I don't have to go back until thursday. Cool huh?

Otherwise, nothing new here. ;)

Fine. I recently rewatched some DS9 episodes. What were they? Wracking my brain... Prodigal Daughter, The Abandoned, In the Pale Moonlight, Waltz, A Time to Stand, then Rocks and Scoals. That's more DS9 than I watched in all of 2005 and 2006.

I dropped off my father at the airport last night. He'll be visiting Iran for two-and-a-half weeks.

Since my father is Iranian, they consider me Iranian even though I've never set foot in the country, meaning if I go over there then I have to put in two years of service. I can't visit Iran until I'm 40, when they'd consider me too old to draft...

... or so I thought. After all this time, my father decides to just up and tell me two weeks ago about Kish Island, which is a tourist spot off of Iran I can visit. So I'll be heading over there next year where I'll finally, after nearly three decades mind you, get a chance to actually meet the my extended family.

Sorry for the double-post, I just realized how long it's been since I posted in one of these threads and not everyone here is a regular in BSG. Here's a commercial I put together in December: Apollo's Ephedra.

I hope you get a kick out of it. The voice in the voiceover is mine.

If you're a Transformers fan, then you might enjoy this too.
