It's just Saturday night and I went to a comedy show which was very good.
Well you gotta figure, first they have to take a look at the laptops that are ahead of mine, and once they finally get to mine, they have to diagnose the problem. and if they have to order the HD from HP there's like a week right there.
^ Damn that sucks. If something is wrong with my computer I usually drop it off it in the morning and get it back in the afternoon, so I guess I'm a little spoiled. 
Anyway, how's everyone doing? I'm doing pretty good, except for the head ache. I've got the next four days off, so that should be fun.

And speaking of computers...today at work one of the Help Desk guys and I reformatted my laptop.
No lives were lost....and I MAY even be able to begin using Lotus Notes without my laptop exploding in a fiery ball that is visible from space.

^ Nothing special really, but I had a lot of fun at work today. I'm also going out for lunch with a co-worker tomorrow. I also had a really nice lunch at come today, followed by presents and a cake.

Well, I'm bumping the bar thread, gang! And with an actual purpose and everything. 
A friend of mine from my Sims board is watching DS9 - in order - for the first time...and you all know how we loooove people who are watching DS9 from that perspective.
Anyway, she is also on my FL on LJ, so any of you guys on LJ keep a lookout for her over there as well.
I'll wait until she posts now. But I have assured her that the people in here are the coolest.

I'm already a fan of Voyager, and I'm familiar with TNG, but I haven't seen any of DS9 before.. I'm currently about 2/3 through the first season, so there's lots more for me to see I'm sure.
I'm not really sure what else to say... I've been browsing through the posts, but don't really know what to say or how to jump in -- I'm a DS9 n00b and in some of it am a bit lost I'll adapt I'm sure.
At any rate... it's nice to meet you all! PK speaks very highly of you

Just jump in wherever you feel comfortable. This is a good group (I don't even like DS9 much and they haven't run me outta here yet) and they'll be okay with whatever you have to say. And if you're into Voyager (yay!), pop over there as well. Not a bad group in that forum, either.

Welcome, tyskkvinna! Glad you made it here! Just jump right in wherever you like and make yourself at home.
Now generally, since DS9 has been off the air for several years, there will be spoilers (for you) posted in this forum. If you don't want to read spoilers, you are welcome to start your own DS9 newbie thread, as forum members in here are very good about respecting spoilers in newbie threads. Some new folks who want to come here and discuss the episodes as they see them find this technique helpful, and the forum members will always jump in and discuss whatever you have seen next with you.
Not a requirement...but I wanted to let you know that was an option if you would like it.
DS9 is a great show, but you have to stick with it! This is a show that peaks toward the end...so be patient - because the payoff is huge! I hope you are enjoying the first season...but you are mainly in the set-up phase now. DS9 is a heavily arc-based show once you get into about season 3...so I'm glad you are watching it in order.
Also, go check out the VOY forum. I like VOY too (as does Orac Zen) and the VOY forum is a place I drop into from time to time.
Anyway, have fun...and enjoy the board. There are alot of good folks here.

That's a good idea, I just may start my own thread sometime soon. :-) I keep running into threads and then running out, going "ack! I have no idea of that yet!" ha ha.
