AGT – important to remember that the crew drifted apart in the timeline that Troi died. And they don’t seem to be in conflict with any Remans or plot to replace Picard with a clone. Whereas in the current timeline, they drifted apart because they all moved on to other assignments after the events of Nemesis. And the Federation doesn’t seem to be in conflict with the Klingons in the current timeline.
The Visitor – Jake needed to end his own life to bring back Sisko. Whereas in the current timeline Jake doesn’t have to, since Sisko is supposed to return someday. There is no word if he has or hasn’t though. The preference as to which future if preferred depends if you value Sisko at the cost of the Dominion War, gassing of the Maquis colony, and the loss of Jadzia, but the gain of Ezri. Or Jadzia at the cost of Sisko and no Ezri Tigan in sight, but the benefit of there being no Dominion War, and no gassing of the Maquis colony.
B&A, Timeless, Endgame - Harry Kim just needed Janeway out of the way to get promoted. And Janeway’s decisions seem to have always resulted in someone’s death, including hers. And the Borg still remained a threat to the Alpha Quadrant in all three timelines. In the current timeline, Janeway’s an admiral (meaning Harry should have been promoted by now), everyone survived, and the Borg aren’t a threat anymore.
The current timeline is good for the VOY crew, but worse for the original DS9 crew. TNG seems to be in the middle.
