Actually, there's quite a bit of pigeon racing in my home village....

Ummm....BACON! SAUSAGE! Yeah, that's what we're supposed to be doing...

Bacon and sausage, with brown sauce... is there anything better?

Eee, we used to get bacon and sausage sarnies from t'butty van on t'market when I were a lad....one of those and a cuppa on a winter's morning sorted you right out.

(True, BTW. We did.)

Unfortunately can't claim to have bought them from a butty van, but bacon and sausage sarnies with a big mug of tea is food heaven!

I would probably go with bacon, just because it's more versatile.
