Babylon 5

In a case you don´t know this stuff, I have recently discovered old Reddit thread with the most detailed descriptions of original plans for Crusade, Legend of the Rangers show and The Lost Tales I have ever seen.

https://www.reddit.com/r/babylon5/comments/8hr1eq/babylon_5_the_original_plan_part_7_final/

As the OP mentions, Straczynski was really keen on the "heroes becoming rogues for their government(s) and have to clear their name" idea he postulated originally for the Babylon Prime spin-off.

So war is happening, what else is new?

I feel bad for Londo. I knew he’d have the Keeper at some point because of War Without End and In The Beginning but I didn’t think they would put it on him until after the series. It just sounds so unpleasant.

Corwin is in the season 5 credits?

Blond boy with his back to the camera just before Vir's title shot.

Maybe that was a half nod to the character and actor rather than giving him more money or more lines?

I really liked the scene with Londo and G’Kar, right before the Keeper was attached. After all these years, who would’ve thought these two would be friendly towards each other.

Most couples are a wreck after 5 years of marriage.

If that Minbari ceremony is binding, Gkar, or G'Kars children, tiny red headed telepaths, are in line for the throne.

There's you telepath Home world Lyta!!

Watching The Gathering and Midnight on the Firing Line one after the other made me realize that JMS for whatever reason missed an opportunity to link the two episodes via G'Kar and Sinclair's threat to him in the former episode.

IMO, that’s what makes Londo’s arc so wonderfully tragic. And Peter Jurasik just nailed it.

Cheers,
-CM-
Yes, he goes out with his young Centauri self's wish.

“As a young and foolish Centauri, I swore that I would die on my feet doing something noble and brave and futile. Perhaps it was not so wild a dream as I thought. Or as foolish. Better than waiting for the inevitable.”

~ Londo Mollari to Delenn and Draal, “Voice in the Wilderness”

I think about a year passed in story between the two. A lot can happen in that time, as we've seen in countless shows.

I have two episodes left and I know the finale is set 20 years in the future, also that it was supposed to be the finale for season 4. So I’m wondering what the next episode will be about... Zack roaming the station singing Greased Lightnin’?

Yes, it was. But none of the clips are from THE GATHERING.

(There is the "There is a hole in your mind" voiceover at the beginning, but that was also used in "AND THE SKY FULL OF STARS".)

I heard a rumor once that that was one of JMS's "Don't Send Me Story Ideas" horror stories, that some fan suggested G'Kar and Garibaldi are captured or lost and G'Kar is all, "No worries, I've still got that tracker Sinclair planted in me after I helped that Minbari who wanted to assassinate Kosh," and Garibaldi would be like, "See, funny story about that..." And then it couldn't happen because that fan could theoretically sue for copyright infringement.

This would've been well after "Midnight," though. On the other hand, all the skullduggery was being done by other Narn off the station. G'Kar had no secret meetings or contacts that a tracker would connect him to, nor did he attempt to flee the station, the ostensible reason for the ostensible tracker, to ensure that he could be caught and brought to justice if he ever went on the run after murdering another ambassador or something.

*sigh* No. You can't Copyright ideas. It's execution of the ideas that is Copyrightable. It would never play out in the fan's favor in court, but no one wants the kind of bad press such a nuisance suit brings with it.

The MASH producers used to receive 10 scripts a day where after some twisted situation, Hawkeye gives Trapper (or BJ) life saving surgery.

After receiving 30 thousand of these nearly identical spec scripts, it was decided that legally they should stray away from Hawkeye ever doing surgery on his castmates.

Lennier left Sheridan to die, so that he could have Delenn. :wtf:

Londo gave a Keeper as a gift for the baby. I get he was forced to but still :wtf:

So yeah, one more to go.

There is a part of me that wonders whether Delenn bears some responsibility for how things turned out with Lennier. He made his own choices, but there may have been times when she might have made those choices mroe clear-cut for him.
