I never noticed this mistake.
And you know what ? I'm glad I'm not that observant![]()
Unrelated and not news.In related news: Han shoots first.
It actually got really annoying by the 11th time I watched it.
Last night was my 22nd time (21 in the theater), and it was fascinating. I put it on my iPod and watched a few minutes while I waited for Chinese take-out at lunch time today. Trek is like an old friend to me that I've had 40-some years. I don't get tired of it; it feels good.
I have had my DVD for a month now, but I also get so into the movie I forget to look for those little details I read about here.To be frank, I never even noticed the gun discrepancy before now.
NO clue! That's how deep into the movie I got at times!

Yeah, I can watch Trek every day...but not the exact same movie or episode!![]()
RoJoHen, my brain must work like yours. As long as I have had the DVD, and love the movie, I just cannot watch it that many times back to back. My tired old brain needs a break to refresh itself.Well, my brain doesn't let me do that.
I'm pretty sure it was "no one" in the theater, as well. I remember more than one thread discussing that particular wording and the question of why it should or should not have been "no man".While we're on the subject of changes for the DVD...
I thought I remember in the theater Spock saying "where no MAN has gone before" at the end but on the DVD he says "where no ONE has gone before". Did they change that too or did I just remember it wrong?
