Ayel's gun is gone!

Maybe this has already been mentioned elsewhere. If so, my apologies and feel free to close this thread.

JJ removed the little incident where Ayel's gun appears on the ground before it should have been there. Very nice fix. That shot always kinda bugged me in the theatrical edition because it briefly took me out of the movie every time. Very glad this was fixed for the home release!

In the theatrical release of the movie when Kirk is fighting the Romulan first-officer there's an overhead shot of their battle and laying on the floor is a phaser/disruptor. The problem is, this shot takes place before that phaser/disruptor is dropped there.

This error has been fixed (i.e. the phaser has been CGI'd away) in the DVD release.

That scene never made any sense to me; I wish it had, as "I got your gun" is such a great line. Well, I always just imagined it worked right before anyway.

I KNEW it! I thought I saw Kirk with the disruptor!

Yup. When I watched ST on the plane back from Canada, I noticed that, too. Yay.
