I'd also love a story about Diane Carey's Bozeman crew. Although her Ship of the Line novel has it's flaws, I really liked the crew and backstory she invented around Captain Fraiser. Uhhh... Bateson.

STIII's Excelsior had a conehead crewman on the bridge and an overly-polite computer that sadly never cropped up again.

A story involving STIV's Saratoga must have a cameo by the blob/bug crewthing seen in the old The Doomsday Bug comic.
