Morgan is 48 he's too old. Downey is 49 and he's heading out because he's too old. They need someone to last another decade's worth of movies.

I don't think it's so much the age - both could easily pass for ten years younger. It's more a matter of waning interest / rocketing slaries.

Morgan (or whoever) would probably jump at the chance, be cheper, more motivated and stick with the part for a good few years.

I'd love RDjr. to do it for the next ten years, but it's not going to happen. Morgan would still be my ideal recast. Besides, Tony's power is in his brain and his super suit. Who says he couldn't carry on into his 50's and further ?

Morgan has been cast as Col. Flagg in the Suicide Squad movie and if it takes off he's going to be pretty busy.

They just showed it and it looks awesome, there was more of the fight between the Hulk and Iron Man in the Hulkbuster armor. There was also a nice tender scene between the Hulk and Natasha. Plus a cool scene with Fury and he's wearing an eyepatch again.

Not much new material. Biggest surprise: it looks like Tony is controlling the Hulkbuster armor when he fights the Hulk. I'd been assuming that Ultron was controlling it and Tony was just trapped inside it.

Very underwhelming. The Hulkbuster looks like a video game compared to Optimus Prime of 8 years ago. There is nothing innovative about the trailer except for how dull that they can make it.. the piano didn't help.

I wouldn't call that a surprise. You don't need Ultron controlling the armor to explain why Tony fights the Hulk. The explanation is just that it's the Hulk!

I wondered how long it would take for you to chime in and bitch about the trailer. I was not disappointed.


I loved the trailer, I watched it in a small video on facebook and it still sent chills down my spine. What impresses me the most is how open this movie looks. I remember a lot of complaints about the first movie about how claustrophobic it felt (lots of studio work, not a lot of location stuff), well this looks to be the exact opposite and I love it.

The Hulk effects keep getting better and better. I wish they'd give Ruffalo a solo Hulk film, I know Marvel has their plate full with literally every one else getting a film, but I'd love to see a Hulk film now.

Sounds like they toned down the processing on Ultron's dialogue quite a bit. Sounds a bit too clean and organic to my ears; I hope they change their mind.
