I usually watch it on my ipod at work on Thursday afternoons but I checked their website and it had no mention of ST. I assume they will review it next week.

JB HiFi's Stack magazine has a double-page Trek spread to celebrate the new film and the DVD releases. It's quite good, though bafflingly names "space hippies" as one of the high points of TOS...
Just saw an ad for the film during Good News Week, which is only the third I've seen. Still nothing on last week's Lost, though there are remarkably few ads on that.

I've seen at least 20 spots in the last two weeks. Three just tonight.
Maybe it's time for the "Pathetic" in the thread title to be removed ? 
My TV viewing must be in the wrong demographic. The mainstream coverage has been fantastic, and that should be at least as beneficial as any advertising.
Not a good sign for "Lost". That and the fact it's now on at what, 11:30 at night or something?
Remember when it was like the biggest show on Australian tv?
Funny, in London I'm seeing banners and billboards, but thats it. No advertising on buses, very few tv commercials. Not trailers on the London Underground video advertising screens. Not tie-in merchandising.

11pm, pushed back from 10:30 by that absolute trash with Russell Brand. It has virtually no ads at all, and as you say, that's quite a fall from a show which was regularly in the top-20 for ratings.
I think it was the third season that pushed most viewers away.
Caught the Sunday repeat of "The Movie Show" tonight. First nine minutes of a 27-minute episode. Four out of five stars each - and they rarely agree. Lots of footage, JJ and Bana interviews and more interview clips on the ABC-TV's website!

Just saw a TV ad for the Star Trek "Warp Speed Ball" premium in Kelloggs' Sultana Bran, Corn Flakes and Mini-Wheats! During "Rove".
I have seen no posters for the film, not even in the cinema i saw it in! no posters or anything, even though it had the most screens in the cinema, along with wolverine, but that had loads of posters.
I am going to see it in imax next week, that should be fun! wonder if they have posters?

Sydney's IMAX has a huge Star Trek banner hanging off the side of the building.
