attention girls: embrace your inner...

Oh, you know, I might not have been kidding around if I knew you were still with your "sweetie dear." Good luck pushing that out of your mind, then.

A perfectly-made latte usually does the trick for me but I'm nutty that way! ;)

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

^ You really do have the right person in your av.

Oh, BTW, looking at this thread, I noticed I was starting to be a bit of a self-absorbed tailpipe again. Sorry! It happens whenever I'm worried or upset. I do what I can and then focus on the trivial things in my life to keep my mind off of whatever. Unfortunatly, then I start babbling about said trivial things, which is fine on the BSG or VOY forum, but doesn't belong in here when people are having more important issues. Maybe I should have one of kimc's lattes next time instead. Of course, I don't like coffee that much, but, that might make it work even better. ;)

well, what's really bothering me is that sweetie dear and i are perfectly fine. so my reaction just annoys me. :p
Oh, phew! I was going to ask about him. I'm glad that you two are doing well.

About the other guy, don't worry about it. Your mind is just imagining "what ifs". Just try to not dwell on it. Seriously, does "sweet" really negate "drunk/stoner" on any life scale?

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

well, i'd say he's more of a fling guy than a relationship guy anyway. :p

and he says he's not stoned all the time nowadays, although given the way he talks, you're never sure if he is or not. and since we were in a bar, he was definitely getting drunk (and so was i).

sorry kimc, i'm not a big fan of lattes.

How about a cappucino or a machiatto then? ;)

Seriously, you know how sometimes when you're standing on a ledge or something and you get the urge to step off? It's not because you wish to kill yourself but there's that tingle of excitement at the possibility. Being attracted to someone when you're already in a loving relationship is the same sort of urge, imo.

Step away from the ledge and the feeling will go away eventually. :)

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

My uterus is almost done hurting! AND I CAN STAND ON MY TIPTOES AGAIN!!!

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

this feels kinda like when you're trying to hold back a laugh, but the more you try not to laugh, the more you have to. stupid brain. :p

Peach, i think i'd die if i couldn't stand on my tiptoes.

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

I don't think I'd die if I couldn't stand on tiptoe, but I'd never be able to use any of the dishes above the lowest shelf in my upper cabinets. :vulcan:

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

You never appreciate it until you can't do it... I appreciate it again! :)
Boy, all the scar tissue in my ankle is breaking down due to the therapy treatments, and we're learning just how crazy my foot has gotten. It still hurts to put full weight on my foot when I walk, but that's mainly because of a !#!@%#$%@$@! bone growth...
I'm still glad I didn't get another fracture in the foot, though. (Knocks on wood so it doesn't happen)

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

Wow. I haven't seen this thread on page one for a while...

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

... and yet, no one has gotten a date from it either. ;)

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

True, but seriously... has anyone done that... at a salon or by themselves?
Edit: I did some waxing by myself and... OW!
I got some bruising... :scream: :censored:

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

Yup, I get brazilians pretty often.

The rest of this post is... for the brave.

Having it done at a salon hurts far less than doing it by myself, mostly because it's faster. Depending on your pain tolerance, you might want to start with just a basic clean-up wax (around the legs, top of the whole pubic area, a really basic wax). If that's okay, pop a tylenol, put on the ipod and remember while you're in those really awkward positions that the person waxing you does this all the time.

Oh, and it's best if you let the hair grow out to about a quarter inch, so the wax has something to grip. Believe me, you don't want them having to go back over the area several times.

Also...if you've been shaving up until now, it's going to be more painful than if you are a regular waxer. The hair grows back very differently when you shave. You see when the waxed hair grows back, it's much finer and is much more easily waxed. So the second wax should be a breeze.

At this point, I can be totally waxed in ten minutes, it doesn't itch growing back and I don't get in-growns. No bruising either.

Anyway, hope that was informative!

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

I've never tried waxing at all, so it was very informative. Thanks. :)

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

Yeah, thanks, Eratta!
I've been used to having my eyebrows waxed (in their natural state, my brows are bushier than Brooke Shields!), but waxing down there was something I'd never tried. I didn't take everything off, but I took a lot off. Other than the bruising, it wasn't too bad!
I did a really good beauty night last night and so I feel pretty good this morning...

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

i keep wanting to try out waxing, but then i realize i'm poor and the trimmer on my electric razor is sufficient for what i want. :p

i also have an epilator, but i've yet to work up the nerve to try that...

so my uterus is very confused. i took 3 pill packs in a row to avoid problems during finals. however, i ended up having like 4 days of (painless) spotting during the first week. i finished the pack last week, so i was due yesterday. and that lasted for all of yesterday. absolutely nothing today. i'm confused too.

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

My uterus just stopped complaining... I know because I'm now not sugar, chocolate or salt ravenous...
Oh, I had a great girl bonding time with the two oldest girls I've babysat for for nearly six years... We went to the mall and went to Lush and to a couple of clothing shops and we also had lunch at Red Robin!
My ankle may be complaining a bit, but it was worth it!
