attention girls: embrace your inner...

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

You people have brain washed me...

I just got the news that I got the seasonal job at Bath and Body Works...

...and my interview with the library is on Tuesday.

I was an assistant manager at a halloween shop, but now I only need some Luna Pads and I'll be a real "attention girls" girl. I've even started to think of chocolate (as long as it's in something else) and coffee (some decaf with my cream, though) as "kind of okay, once in a while, as a social thing" instead of "really yucky."

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

OK...this is gonna sound kind of silly:

I'm getting kind of tired of seeing that 'FoxyFans' ad all the time on the website. I'm not so offended by the content but the fact that UGO seems to think this website has only male readers. Where's our "HunkyFans"?!

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

Sounds like a challenge for the guys from the picture thread to me!

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

The hair thinning occurred due to me being on Prilosec for almost a year. I've been able to cut the dose, finally, and I've almost got my stomach figured out...

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

Im happy to hear that. :) I have also gotten my hair back in a good way.. :)

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

woohoo, we've turned Scatta to the dark side. :D

i need to start burning scented candles more often. i have like a backlog of them. they need to go. :p

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

Does anyone else turn into a crazy person once a month? I'll have a day where I'm convinced everyone else is being terrible and just go around raging at people, until I realize that I'm just being hormonal. It's really embarrassing because I'm so convinced I'm acting normal at the time.

Luckily I've worked out a system with my guy where he just tells me I'm being a delight and gives me some chocolate.

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

I'm a little crampy and I have Vicks Vaporub on the soles of my feet and I'm wearing socks on my feet at the advice of my brother. I've had a nasty cold the last week or so with a cough, and my brother had a similar thing. He tried the Vaporub and socks and it drained the crud right out of him. I'm hoping it works for me. Tomorrow I go see my orthopaedist. I hope he likes how I've progressed. I'm down to walking with one crutch!

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

Kestra  It's not funny, but the way you worked it out just sounded that way.

Peach And when your doctor is down by your legs and smells the Vaporub, you get to explain that you do have a better concept of anatomy than that. ;)

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

Aw, Kestra. :( Yes, I have my crazy days, too. They're no fun at all. Try this -- about a week before your crazy day, take a calcuim/magnesium supplement every day until about day 2 of your period. For me, it helps ease the crazies and the cramps.

Peach, I'm going to have to try the VapoRub on the feet. At this point, I've been so congested for so long, I'm willing to try almost anything. If it works for me, I'll do it to DS. Poor kid. We're on round two of The Crud this season.

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

Round 2? Ouch! This cold that's going around seems to be pretty stubborn. I'm also using a Neti pot on my nose. Dr. Oz showed it on "Oprah" and it does flush crud out of your nose. You feel like you had pool water up your nose for a minute or two, but it does seem to work...

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

^If you get the salt-water mix right, it doesn't. I've used something similar on and off for years.

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

I'm sorry for the double post, but I would just like to tell my hormones to FRAK OFF!

Thank you. I now return you to your daily BBSing.

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

someone smack me.

i hung out with some random high school people. including one guy i had some sort of phyiscal reaction/connection with in high school (that never went anywhere), and apparently now (still not going anywhere, since i'm not single). he's a carpenter, not the most intellectual, and is typically stoned/drunk. but he's always soooo sweet.

anyway, i can't stop thinking about him. someone shoot me. :p

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

[bang]

Hey, you think that's scraping the bottom of the barrel, my ex-BF finalized his second divorce and broke off his engagement for yet another wedding in April (third broken engagement), and on the phone last night, we actually entertained the idea of maybe one day, on down the road, if neither of us is involved with anyone else, after we've both worked through some things, possibly getting back together. He'd really be scraping the bottom of the barrel. ;) I would say that I was, but I'm so bad at relationships, it's more honest the other way around.

Nice avatar, by the way.

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

^Thank you. Ironically, when I was collecting images, it was a shipper av. It somehow turned into a 30 second PSA.

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

Don't be too hard on yourself. Just focus on your relationship and things will fall back into place. I think what you're feeling is fine and normal, as long as you don't want to act on it. If you found yourself wanting to act on it, that's trouble.

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

Oh, you know, I might not have been kidding around if I knew you were still with your "sweetie dear." Good luck pushing that out of your mind, then.
