Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

Dang, girlfriend. I heard that four states away.

*sets up the bar to mix alphabetized drinks*

pookha, yay for the good news!! That's the best kind. You have the honor of selecting which letter of the alphabet we'll start with tonight.

In other Mayville news, I can now add migraines and plantar fasciates (however its spelled) to my lovely list of health fun. Grr.

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

poohka Did we know about that before you had it? Have I been that out of touch? If so, I'm sorry.

----

I have a job, and best of all it's temporary! I have until mid-November to look around Richmond and decide where I want to spend the next year or two.

I would say what I'll be doing exactly, but like my old job, it's too specific to post online. My exact location would be narrowed down to two or three places.

In other news, I saw New York on the way back, but I didn't get to do any shopping. It just wasn't a good time for it financially and I couldn't have fit much in my bag anyway. I'd rather see a theatrical performance anyway. [ducks]

Edit If you're wondering how you go to Nashville by way of New York, independent airlines don't have that many stops so connections can be in odd places. It was the best way to get a cheap flight, so I decided to AmTrak up from Richmond and fly back to Nashville for about $20 more so that I could actually see a few things. The hotel wasn't much more in NJ than VA, anyway, and I had to stay somewhere Friday night.

some of you know but the breast biopsy came back ok...

:)

That's excellent news! :)

My head hurts. I think I need some chocolate...

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

Glad you're okay, pookha. :)
Went shopping with my sister-in-law, mom and niece yesterday. We all went to an Osh Kosh outlet store and got Miss Maddie a bunch of new clothes. My foot hurt like crazy afterward, but it was worth it! :)

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

Hey pookha, glad to hear goodness. :)

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

scatta i only mentioned it once.
and i am with you on new york. play over shopping.

actually for me it would be museum, play, shopping.
:p

thanks everyone for the good thought.
:)

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

Has anybody here tried eHarmony for a long-term relationship? I'm seriously considering doing that.
How does this sound for a personal ad?

Single white female, 27 years old, seeking single male for marriage. I would like a man who doesn't mind an old-fashioned woman who wants to be a stay-at-home wife and mother. I am HW proportionate, blonde-brown hair, blue eyes, moderate Republican, Christian, Star Trek/Star Wars fan.

Is this a bad thing, gals?

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

I don't think it's a bad thing. Sometimes, the circle in which one circulates is just too small to find a suitable partner. So, broadening the pool of candidates is a reasonable step.

But, be careful. While I understand that eHarmony has a huge questionnaire that its applicants must submint, there are still nuts out there, and I want you to be safe.

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

Thanks, May... :)
I'm so nervous in RL with guys. I'm just beginning to wonder if I should try an alternative means where I might be able to be completely myself.

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

peach
just do some research first about their screening practices ect..

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

HW proportionate means height-weight proportionate, Toresica, as I understand it. I have an hourglass figure and long limbs.

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

I really wish that hotels, including weekly-rent crash pads didn't all have white sheets. If the hydrogen peroxide doesn't get the blood out after one or two more tries, I'm going to have to buy bleach. (As for where it came from, I think you can figure that out based on what thread this is.) [long sigh] [reaches for something else, since she doesn't like chocolate]

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

Try that new Shout Advanced stain remover, Scatta. It works on dryer-set oil in clothes. :)
I am planning on getting a pair of sneakers tomorrow so I can work on strengthening my right leg. It's weak after being in a therapeutic boot for three weeks. I need something better than my Nike Frees because those don't accomodate an ankle brace, unfortunately.
My granddad wanted me to go to a football game this Saturday, but it's going to be a very long time before I'm up to a walk into the nosebleed seats of Husky Stadium...

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

peroxide usually works for me, so i have no idea what to suggest. :p

that reminds me of a conversation i had with sweetie dear and a friend of his once.
friend: blood is easy to get out of jeans.
me: no it's not.
*silence*
sweetie dear: um, different type of blood.

Re: attention girls: embrace your inner twitch.

For the record, I just have to say that I love my Lunablanket. And considering how unpredictable my period is, I tend to travel with it just in case.
