Okay, I'll admit it: I still have my blankey from when I was a baby. What's more, although I can sleep well enough without it, I'd rather not.
It's a knitted blanket that was given to me when I was six months old. That was almost 27 years ago. It more closely resembles a ball of wool today. It still has a few blanket-like qualities today though, and I'm still unreasonably attached to it.
Ashu inadvertantly brought this to my attention today when she was over at my place. She grabbed it from me and rolled over away from me to have a nap. All I could think was "She stole my fucking blanket!"
(By the way, we had a good laugh about this afterward so there's no hard feelings or anything)
