Arrowverse's Crisis on Infinite Earths to be 5-Part Crossover

Rumor is Routh is playing a Kingdom Come version of Superman
I hope not. I want to see him playing Superman in his prime - as if he's ever out of it.
I wonder what other revelations about COIE will emerge over the next 36 hours or so? Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman? Black Lightning? Batman?

Routh was great in the underappreciated and unjustly maligned Superman Returns.
While I completely agree that Routh was great in Superman Returns (I'd go so far as to say he was the best thing in that movie) I disagree that it's underappreciated or unjustly maligned. It was a pretty terrible movie overall and the only thing unjust about it was that it pretty much killed Routh's movie career.

Well, each to his own. I don't think it's great or perfect, but I like a lot of things about it, not just Routh (though he's top of the list). Seems to me it's one of those movies Internet fandom collectively decided to dogpile. They pick a movie occasionally to do that to, until the nerdrage echo chamber has convinced itself a perfectly good movie is the Worst Thing Ever (see also: Star Trek into Darkness).

Returns is objectively "unjustly maligned" on at least one point, however: the nonsensical "deadbeat dad" complaint fans constantly harp on, when it's crystal clear in the film that he had no idea Lois was pregnant when he left.

If they could get Gene Hackman as Lex Luthor as a cameo or even just a voice-over message sent to his past or alternate self...

*Cryer Lex listening to a message from an alternate Lex Luthor*

Alt Lex Luthor- This is Lex Luthor. Greatest Criminal mastermind of all time. I am sending a mes...

*Lenny in the background*

Lenny- Uncle lex! Where did you leave the car keys?

Alt Lex Luthor- LENNY!!

*Cryer Lex is confused*

You literally took a swipe at Man of Steel just a few posts ago in this very thread, so maybe not the best person to lecture people on this particular point. :p

^ I referred to "a perfectly good movie," so MoS is a non sequitur.

(You always complain about my lectures. Such a problem student. :p )

Does anyone know when the Arrow Verse Panels are today? Are they after Star Trek or are they happening right now? Star Trek has a 2 hour slot I know, but the Arroverse panels are usually fun. Also, aren't we close to EBR's birthday? They always seem to celebrate that at Comic Con. I wonder if that little girl who Amell has built a relationship with over the last couple of years will show up.

It's weird to think Arrow first aired less than 7 years ago as a grounded street level show, and now we're getting this. :D

Wow, of all the past DC actors to return, that is not one I would have expected.
Are any of the cast members from the old '50s Adventures of Superman still around?

Sadly, only Phyllis Coates, the series' first season Lois, is still with us. She appeared briefly as mother to Teri Hatcher's Lois in the first season of Lois & Clark, but I don't know that she's turned up onscreen since.

She's 92. I don't see it happening.
