Chase really got to him and he doesn't want to feel responsible for what happens to them in the life of a vigilante. But why shut down the whole operation? Why not let Spartan, Overwatch, and the team continue without him?

For one poster they are one in the same.Next week on Arrowverse: a choice of musical and torture episodes![]()
Hail Hy....oops, wrong Universe.*g* But at least 3 of those had an organization behind them - so it would have been kind of like cutting of a Medusa's head, just to have 7 grow back in its place
This is all water under the bridge anyway. Why should it matter to him now?
How did Music Meister manage to miss the hero that needs some psychological help the most this week?![]()
Is this the first time we've had an episode that was mostly flashback?
I'm not sure I'm comfortable with them taking Oliver somewhere this dark. It's hard to see how he can come back from it and still be considered a hero.
I'm guessing since in this one Oliver realizes from just what kind of dark place he originally comes, the next few episodes will feature him realizing just how far he's moved away from that darkness over the years. With a little help from his friends, of course.
I don't think it's water under the bridge for Oiliver - the violence and the darkness have been eating at him for quite some time and probably came to the fore late last season when looking for a way to defeat Darkh.
True, he felt bad about his past actions. Even Anatoly in the flashback was getting concerned that Ollie might be going too far, especially when he tortured one of the Russian gangsters for info. Yes, he committed violent acts in the name of vengeance or justice, or whatever his motive might have been. Yes, a part of him enjoyed killing criminals and bad guys. But that's all in the past. It's time to move on. He has changed a lot since he returned to his home city five years ago.
The whole Brava storyline -- it just seemed unnecessary.
And how will they show the last , what , 6-9 months? Enough to get a beard?
Now,the "Ollie Retiring" storyline... will this happen every 2 years or so or what?
Would the show really end in 2 years? I don't see that right now.
