Spoilers Arrow - Season 5

the Bulletproof Bat-Screen! :D

He can't use that name, someone else has the copyright.
I love the Thea-Quentin dynamic, I was annoyed by those characters in Season 1, now they are my favourites.
Dolph Lundgren is pretty great here too...

I've been reading comics too long. When the Artemis reveal happened I thought of Deathstroke and Terra.

Also, her code-namesake has a villain father on Young Justice, and her real-namesake was a traitor in the New 52 run of Birds of Prey. So she's a traitor who comes from a long line of traitors, basically a Duras. How could we not see this coming? :D

I wonder when exactly was she recruited by Prometheus? After she was recruited by Oliver?

^ That clip feels surreal after Teen Titans Go. I watched the original Teen Titans when it aired but it just seems weird after Go. Maybe if the designs and voices weren't so close.

The voices aren't just close, they're the same damn people. :)

"Hi, you know how we fired you, because we're idiots? Do you almost want you old jobs back sorta?"

Or maybe, Prometheus is none ther than...the author of the list!!

Nobody stays dead on this show. ;)
I've been having the same thought, and we already know he'll be appearing in some form in at least the 100th episode.
I was glad they didn't actually try and convince us Quentin was Promtheus. I think Prometheus screwing with him is a lot more interesting than an identity fake out.
The stuff with Vigilante was pretty good.
I wasn't expecting the big reveal with Artemis, although it does explain why she went from villain to hero so quickly.

^^
Did she kill anyone?
I remember she wanted to kill Ruve Darhk, but so did Diggle in that episode, and nobody's calling him a villain...

I haven't seen the episode she first appeared in, but I thought she was pretty much the villain of the episode, even if she wasn't at level of someone like Prometheus or Deathstroke.

"Villain" is a strong word. She was the antagonist, but a sympathetic one that the heroes had to talk down from her actions, sort of like Magenta in The Flash recently. Or like Ghost Rider in Agents of SHIELD, someone who uses deadlier methods than the heroes prefer but that they want to win over to their side.

Sorry, that should have been "haven't seen the episode she first appeared in since it first aired".
Ok thanks. All I could remember was that she was using the Black Canary name and killing people.
Matt Ross, from DC's Couch Crew, a blog they do about the DC TV shows, mentioned the possibility that Artemis is undercover for Green Arrow. That actually didn't occur to me, I have the bad habit of taking these kinds of reveals at face value when the first occur.
I'm not sure which I prefer, having a traitor on the team could be interesting, but I really like the new team and would hate to lose one of them. Maybe we could have both, and have her start as a traitor, but then be turned into a double agent for Oliver and co.

Whatever way they go I would like to have her on the team by the end, they need some estrogene missing Speedy, and so far I like her.

They kinda did that last year with Quentin Lance working for Darhk.

But since both Susan Williams and Artemis are currently plotting to betray Oliver, I'm pretty sure one of them will have a change of heart...

Vigilante looked bad ass. Completely ridiculous how he disappears into thin air at will though to keep the story moving.
I was legitimately shocked that Artemis is working with Prometheus. Well done.
