I really didn't like this episode, and it was all because of Felicity. I get why she was emotional, but she's acting like she hasn't been doing this for over two seasons. Its not particularly entertaining for me to watch someone act like an ass over a death the audience knew didn't happen. Honestly, she needs to either accept that death is a possibility and start doing her job, or actually quit and stop getting in Diggle/Roy/Ray Palmer's way.
As it is, in this episode she's just about the most annoying character the show has had this season, and possibly in its whole run. I've never been awed by Felicity like some people seem to be, but I've liked her well enough. This whole attitude, while understandable, made her unbelievably annoying this episode. Also, why didn't Diggle mention that its totally possibly that, by "saving" him and Roy, that she's sentenced dozens of innocent people to death or injury by the released violent criminals? She's really selfish, and has basically not grown as a character at all since she first joined up with Ollie. Maybe when he comes back she'll change and learn to accept the possibility of death in the vigilante business. Its going to get really tedious if her attitude from this episode becomes the norm for her.
Besides that, I liked seeing John Barrowman, and the reveal of who saved Ollie was interesting, even if the Hong Kong flashbacks are still really boring. Next week's episode looks interesting, so hopefully it will make up for the bulk of this episode being Felicity whining and generally being irritating.
