I only have that reaction if she's unshaved. I don't get aroused by women who look like my daughter *shudder*.

I didn't call anyone a pedophile. I said I don't like the way it looks, especially since it is reminiscent of the way my 5 year-old daughter looks.

Just in case someone hasn't mentioned it yet, it's a tad awkward to keep bringing up your young daughter in the cunnilingus and shaved pubes discussions. Just FYI.

Well, only the first time, but seemed to be all of them, some more so than others.
That's understandable then. I don't think I've ever gotten to anybody first-- the other guys were always quicker. :rommie:
 I didn't mean their first time, I meant our first time together... although one of them it could have been their first time having anyone go down on them, but she said it wasn't...
Oh. :rommie: Well, I don't know then... reflexive hesitation, I suppose.

Yes, because it is culturally engrained in you to think so. If it wasn't a common procedure you would not think twice about it.
I'd probably still find it gross. Seriously, it's just a matter of not liking how foreskin looks or how a dick looks when it's wrapped up in one. It's the same level of gross for me as if someone doesn't bother to trim up their pubic hair.

And yet in a country like the UK where circumcision is barely practiced it's hardly considered an issue by anyone. Women don't prefer circumcised men because they simply aren't used to seeing them. In all my years of dating and knowing English people nobody has ever even raised the issue or expressed a preference and i've never heard it even discussed. I hardly think that is a coincidence ;)

You are just having trouble looking beyond your cultural programming, it happens to all of us on various issues.

And I think that a cut dick is hideous. :p It's all in what you're used to, really.
I guess I don't think so - I've seen plenty of both thanks to the wonders of the internet, and the fact uncut men are becoming more and more common in porn. Even in the "golden age" of porn John Holmes, who was famous for being very well endowed, was uncut. So it's not a matter of limited exposure to me, just a preference, much like my preference for a lack of body hair on both men and women.
Unless you've been watching porn at least 4-5 hours a day since you were, I dunno, 11, then you're vastly more used to your own dick. Which is cut, unless you're really into self-hating here. :p

That's what I was referring to in that instance, not porn. Sorry that I didn't make it clear.

Similarly, it also wouldn't surprise me if men in our generation had grown up during one of the porn-eras where women had more hair "down there," then we'd generally find it more attractive, or at least less unattractive.
Dude, the first porn I ever saw, thanks to my finding my dad's stash, was made up mostly of stuff from the '70s, so pretty much everyone had some pretty full bushes. Not attractive in the least to me. Interestingly enough, Sharon Mitchell had a movie she was completely shaved in, and that's pretty much how I found I liked how that looked.[/quote]
Fair enough, I suppose.

Men who won't perform oral sex are just like women who won't perform oral sex-- they're so insecure that they think it's degrading.

I don't like it because I find it too impersonal. If I can't see my partner's face, and if our faces are more than half a body length apart, then it just doesn't feel right to me. I would imagine that's a feeling shared by a lot of women.

Oh, now you've done it.

J.

This won't end well ... ;)

:p

Or, maybe it will.

J.

Oh my!

Actually, when i'm erect, it doesn't pull back naturally. I'd have to pull it back myself.
Really? Different models I assume then.

His is obviously a pump-action model that you have to cock before firing.

All this talk of my penis is turning me on ... ;)

I'll be in my bunk.

I don't know, it seems pretty personal to me. :rommie:

Anyway, you can make eye contact if you want to.

Hard to tell.

Down, boys. ;) All this talk about elasticity reminds me of a more innocent time in my life.

When I was growing up in another country, most boys (including myself) didn't get circumcised until they were in their pre- or early teens. I don't know why ... I guess it was viewed as a rite of passage to being a grown man. In fact, I didn't know of any grown-up man who wasn't circumcised. Everyone just assumed that all grown-up men were.

I'm telling you, back then when a boy reached a certain age and became more aware of "grown-up" things and started talking to his peers about sex, the issue of circumcision made those kids quite apprehensive. Imagine the horror as well as the pressure going through a young boy's mind. Any kid who had reached a certain age and was known to be uncut was ridiculed. Also, since masturbation was becoming more common, all my friends talked about how elastic one's foreskin was before he could be circumcised. Apparently, the more one jerked off, the more his member would get pliable.

And since it was a rural agricultural community, most people did not have a lot of money. The well-to-do families had their boys taken to a medical doctor to conduct the procedure (such as I did); others, however, went to a local version of a "medicine man" to do it for them for a small fee. As you can imagine, it was often painful and bloody and could be prone to infection.

Well, I'm glad I got through that part of my life just fine. I personally don't believe in subjecting infants or toddlers to mutilation.

It's just a skin over it.

Which also contains a lot of nerve endings and stuff. So even if someone was to "restore" by stretching what remaining skin they had, it wouldn't quite be a perfect substitute for their original foreskin.
The lady did say she was curious how it looked, not what it contained. And I quite familiar with this, I have one installed after all.

Weird question, but I'm just wondering which is more common.

Well you won't find out from this poll, that's for sure.

Worldwide, uncircumcised is more common.

But this board's membership is heavily USA-based, where circumcision is common, which is likely to give a errenously high circumcised penis count.

Hardly surprising. See that all the time. :shifty:
