Well, not reading the entire thread. But I answered the poll:

Uncircumsised, and it works just fine so I see no reason to change that.

Yeah, but there's nearly no natural lubrication,
Uh, pre-cum? Vaginal fluid?

and nothing to provide some friction\resistance against the head without a foreskin.
The vagina? Her mouth? Your hand?

I'd consider that a loss of function, IMO.
I don't really.

I hesitate to call it genital mutilation, though, myself, as it really doesn't compare at all to what's done to little girls in some parts of the world.
People just like to say that as a strawman to shock people with because they're butt hurt about it for some reason. Whereas female circumcision (as in complete, not just trimming up as some women still get done) involves removing the clit and all external genitalia, then sewing it all up so she can't have sex, male circumcision is just removing a little excess skin. Some people say it's more sensitive if you don't, but as someone who is circumcised and has a healthy libido, I don't feel that I'm missing out on anything. And on a personal note, I find the uncut look to be gross, and I happen to know a lot of women do too. Penn & Teller even ranted about those women for having the gall to find foreskin unattractive.

Frankly, in my personal experience and with talking with girlfriends over the years, men are alot less willing to offer oral sex than are women.
Those men are shit.
Sounds like most guys in here are having the same reaction. I know there tends to be an idiotic adolescent "eww, I'm not doing that" factor but I thought most guys who acted like that would grow out of it.

My reaction, especially if she's shaved or at least well-trimmed is "Om nom nom!"

I only have that reaction if she's unshaved. I don't get aroused by women who look like my daughter *shudder*.

I agree, I prefer trimmed/unshaven to the bald look.

You know I don't think it is all that big a deal, certainly not as big as many around here are making out, but there is a certain amount of cognitive dissonance going on here. Yes female circumcision is much worse, but male circumcision is not just "removing excess skin", there is nothing excess about a part of the body every man is born with and clearly finding it unattractive is nothing but a cultural issue caused by the fact that people keep cutting it off.

If we cut off the little finger of every boy that was born, a certain section of society would eventually be conditioned to view 5 fingered men as being unattractive, it's simply not a valid argument in favour of it and Penn and Teller are quite right to mock society for developing such silly attitudes

Extreme example - but I'd agree with the logic of unfamiliarity being a bit of a factor.

I need to look up the Pen & Teller stuff. I haven't seen their BS show since I cancelled Sky.

Yes it was an extreme example, I was not intending to compare removing the foreskin to removing the finger at all. It was just one of the first things that came to mind.

I was going say "pull out the toenails" but I figured they would grow back. The little finger was just a part of the body which is not essential to normal function which is why I picked it.

It's the same as body hair. Because some societies have become so obsessed with getting rid of it, it has now come to the situation where people who don't remove it are considered ugly freaks. How fucked up is that?

Ahh yes, that is a much less sensational example of the same thing. Thanks

Of course, body hair grows back :vulcan:

i enjoyed eating my ex out more than i enjoyed ...told the bitch she should trim...

Charming!

I think the part where she's his ex is probably the reason for the less than friendly tone towards her.

correct. she only wanted one thing and when she got it, she claimed i was cheating on her (as IF! she was my first girlfriend in 24 years and if i couldn't pull once in that time, i was hardly going to suddenly pull twice in the sapce of a few weeks!) and started a fight so we broke up.

Wouldn't it be funny if foreskins grew back? I bet all the 'cut and proud' brigade would be thinking twice about getting a regular trim.

Men who won't perform oral sex are just like women who won't perform oral sex-- they're so insecure that they think it's degrading.
I'd think at least half of them wouldn't even put enough thought in to it to think of it that way.
Well, they don't think about it; it's not a rational reaction. Most people aren't even aware of their insecurity, yet it governs most of their interactions with others.

I would be willing to test this theory on as many women as would volunteer. I get the feeling that instead of degraded, I'd be awfully cheery.
