Are there any fan-favorite/well liked Characters (from any Trek) that you just can't stand?

Though anyone is free to dislike a character for whatever reason, I don't think these statements about McCoy are fair:

2. He regularly expresses skepticism or outright hostility toward advanced technology and artificial intelligence—odd for someone practicing medicine in the 23rd century. This could hinder medical innovation or adaptation.
McCoy occasionally makes decisions that would violate contemporary medical ethics—such as treating patients without consent, experimenting with untested treatments, or interfering in alien cultures.
He's only opposed to technology that's evidently "evil", easy to go wrong or dehumanizing. Like the M5. He's not against useful technologies, like the knowledge helmet in Spock's Brain. If McCoy was alive in our century, he'd probably rant about ChatGpt, but I doubt he'd be against, say, medical implants that restore mobility or improve life quality for injured patients.
As for interfering with alien cultures, this is a broader problem in TOS, specially when it comes to Kirk.

4. He frequently challenges Captain Kirk in emotionally charged ways, sometimes undermining the chain of command. While his moral compass is admirable, this behavior can be disruptive during critical missions.
When he challenges Kirk, he's doing so as his friend. Possibly as his only friend onboard, which Kirk appreciates. On those ocassions Kirk is "Jim" for him, not "the Captain".

5.His Racism towards Vulcans has always rubbed me the wrong way. McCoy frequently makes sarcastic or demeaning remarks about Spock’s Vulcan heritage. This could be seen as unprofessional and culturally insensitive, even if it's supposed to be friendly banter.
It's weird how McCoy is being singled out as the racist, when plenty other characters make statements that could be seen as racist from a modern viewpoint. Kirk, Scotty, Uhura... almost everyone has made fun of Spock's Vulcan attitudes at one point or another. And Spock frequently makes disparaging comments about humanity as a whole, and yet he's seen as the bullied victim? At least McCoy's jabs are more against Spock's personal (and often insincere) attitudes, and not against Vulcans in general. He criticizes Spock because he knows his unemotional facade is fake, and is doing harm to him on the long run. And he's the first to defend Spock when a character is truly insulting or humilliating him, as in "The Omega Glory" or "Plato's Stepchildren".

How so? He expressed skepticism at technologies that removed the human element, but is regularly seen using highly advanced tech to save patients.

Skepticism is the foundation of science so his attitude is one that I would expect, rather than blind acceptance.

I’m not sure I follow that, but he did solve the problem.

Anyway, Picard never bothered me (until his own show, anyway). I liked how he was.

I’ve liked most Star Trek characters.

I suppose another one I didn’t like was Booker.
I'm unfamiliar with Booker. I'm curious how Kira and Odo rubbed you the wrong way.

No rational mind would ever blindly accept AI as if it is some flawless wonlder of the age never to be doubted or questioned. Allow me to introduce you to Nomad, Landru, the M-5, Vaal, and so on. Not the greatest record and many innocent individuals died interacting with each.
Exactly. A healthy skepticism toward the possible abuses and human costs of any radical new technology is not a bad thing. And TOS, in particular, often took a measured, cautious, occasionally ambivalent attitude towards science and technology. Along with the many brilliant triumphs of science and engineering on display (such as the Enterprise), there were also cautionary fables about insane computer-gods, virtual warfare, neural neutralizers, and such, as well as passionate speeches about man versus machine. (Hello, Samuel Cogley.)

TOS was never 100% gung-ho about any and all new scientific breakthroughs. Nor is science fiction in general. Cautionary tales about the possible dangers of unchecked science have been a staple of the genre since Frankenstein at least.

Somebody on Kirk's Enterprise had to articulate that skepticism, and McCoy was the perfect character to do so, since he was all about seeing the human, emotional side of every issue.

I don't really hate the character (I'd say ambivalent, I don't get why everyone else loves him so much but whatever) but as far as ENT goes Tucker's accent really annoys me as someone who has lived in Panama City and still lives in the panhandle. Southern accent? Sure you'll hear it. But that particular brand of aw' shucks gosh darnit cap'n kind? It's just too over the top.

He spoke about that at a convention recently.

He said his accent was from Oklahoma, but then sometime during the series they said Trip was from Florida, and it was too late to change it.

A lot of states have a panhandle.

I wouldn't say I "can't stand" them, but now that I'm rewatching DS9, I Really dislike Nog and Captain Sisko. Controversial choices I know...

I can't think of any main cast characters. I wasn't wild about Troi for most of TNG's run, but she grew on me later. And Torres was very "whatever" for me.

I did, however, very much dislike Shelby.
