Spoilers Are Anakin and Darth Vader really the same person?

The Clone Wars show though, made this turn even more sudden.
I disagree, Anakin does a few questionable things in that series, and the Jedi Council does a few things to fuel his distrust against them, like not believing Ahsoka.

As Obi-wan said, it depends on your point of view.

That being said, my POV is that Anakin was Vader, and Vader Anakin. Anakin had already become Darth Vader when his fight with Obi-wan occured. He just went from a Sith to a mutilated Sith.

Vader on Mutafar is not the question. It is the transition from lopping off Mace's arm to him killing the Separatist leadership that is wavy. The scene prior to Padme's arrival has Vader crying a single tear. Like it was Anakin's last.

You mean Anakin/Vader's last tear. Anakin is Vader and Vader is Anakin. All Anakin did was give in to evil and adopt a new title. That's it.
