Archer's age?

Does anybody know how old was Archer when he commanded the Enterprise in the first four years (which was when the series ran)? Was he supposed to be the same age as Bakula? Which was mid to late forties? Just wondering.

Memory Alpha is your friend: Archer was born in 2112, which makes him 39 in the first season. Scott Bakula was 47 in 2001, when Enterprise premiered.

My only problem with the Memory Alpha Timeline and its age is that the kid who played young Archer working on the ship with his Dad was older than nine. I have a nine year old son right now that isn't anywhere close to that kid and I just watched the pilot last night. The other thing is that it shows at the bottom of the screen that it is 30 years later. I always perceived him to be closer to Bakula's real age.
