Anyone watch Fringe? *apparant spoilers*

While doing my daily browsing of anything and anything on Wikipedia, I found myself looking for how many episodes of Lost J.J Abrams directed (which is two with two teleplays just out of curiosity) and I found another TV series he created which looks interesting.

Does anyone watch this? If so do you like it? I don't have Sky1 but I accidently read something about being on an alternate Earth and terroists destroyed the White House and not the Towers.

Yes I have been watching it and I enjoy it.

And wow, that thing you accidentally read is what we JUST learned in the very last scene of the season finale that aired on Tuesday. The twist ending.

So if you don't mind the fact that you're spoiled on that, then you should watch it. It has an interesting balance of a season-long story arc and different cases each week. I really like the characters, which is probably the primary reason I watch the show.

Haha, wow. The very last thing is what got me interested.

And it's cool, I didn't start watching Heroes until Sylar was "killed" at the end of series one.

Apparently though, there are things like flash images, is that true? Same with something to do with frogs? What's the deal with all that? I find it really interesting lol.

There's a minor plotline involving frogs, but they are mainly just used for promotional images. There are occassionally flashes, but it depends on what's going on. Oh, and I would completely recommend it! There are threads for each episode in the Sci-Fi and Fantasy Forum here.

And, yes it is very very interesting. The alternate universe concept has just been introduced in the last few episodes. It's one of the two shows that I love on the air. Walter played by John Noble is hilariously entertaining.

I recognise the name, Lord of the Rings? That springs to mind. Couldn't say what character though :(.

I think tomorrow I'll find some episodes online tomorrow and check it out.

Yes, Noble played Denethor in LOTR.

I love Fringe. It's a fun show. You can watch it online.

And now we have a familiar guest star as Mr. Bell.

:techman:

Oh for christ sake guys, Spoilers!!! I'm in the Uk too and I watch Fringe every week, the one week I dont catch it and I save it on my SKY+ and some nugget spoils the big twist. :scream:

This is equivalent to someone saying that "oh picard gets turned into a Borg" or "hey his sled is called Rosebud".

Think. type. Think. Post.

To those that have been spoiled on that one point, don't worry too much, there were other things in the finale that are much more important/intriguing than that last scene.
