Having had a personal trainer for two years I am pretty good on this area... but it's always nice to bounce ideas off people in the know. My friends just look at me like I'm talking another langauge.
I won't go into too much detail, unless there are people here who I can conflab with.
I have annoying muscles. I've always suffered from neck pain due to bad posture, and while posture is better it's not great. I miss my chest being stretched by my trainer while lieing on a foam roller. Although I have found some exercises that I can do myself, which I started last night.
My other problem is my right knee... it used to hurt a lot before the trainer (well an ache), and through stretching, streghtening and rolling out my muscles it got better. Well, the hurt it back... probably made worse by me taking up running.
So I've got a foam roller and am rolling out my calves as best I can, as well as my IT bands.
The knee doesn't hurt when running, when it gets looser I guess. I did feel my quads hurting in that leg when running today though... I wonder if they are tighter and I just don't notice. Anyone got any thoughts?
